仕事関係先から野球観戦チケットを頂き、バックネット後方のボックスシートで観戦。
ゆったりとビールを飲みながら、海浜幕張駅で買ってきたツマミをお供に楽しみました。
久しぶりの野球観戦でしたが、やはりスタジアムでの野球は興奮度大ですね。

I went here in April 2023 to watch Chiba Marines V Fukuoka Hawks. I live nearby and have passed the stadium hundreds of times but had never been inside before. I had also never been to a professional baseball game before so I had a lot to learn.
We walked along the beach from Inage to get there but it's about a 15 minute walk from the nearest station, Kaihinmakuhari. There are lots of shops and restaurants at the station if you want to hang around there on the way.
Before the game, the usual food vans are everywhere outside. Despite there being lots of vans I felt the food on offer was limited, the usual Japanese stuff. We opted for burgers and craft beer which happened to be next to each other. Queues were long but what made it worse was that you had to join another long queue after ordering your food to collect it and they messed up the order which meant we had to wait longer for them to correct it. The craft beer was good and only 1000JPY / £6.50 a pint, not too bad.
Once inside the stadium was very well organised, clean and had lots of food stalls selling food, beer and soft drinks. A baseball game is long, longer than I anticipated. After two hours I went to the toilet and they were absolutely pristine. I was very impressed by that.
We were lucky to have had a warm, sunny day adn Chiba Marines won the game. I certainly recommend it as an experience, even if you aren't a baseball fan. The Japanese fans are very passionate about the game and it's fun to watch them jump up and down and chant their songs.

一試合の奪三振の日本記録は、野田（オリックス）、佐々木（千葉ロッテ）の19ですが、いずれもこのスタジアムで作られました。野田の場合は、向かい風でフォークが面白いように落ちたという話があります。その他、海風の作るドラマは数知れません。
ドラマでは、1993年版の「ゴジラ対メカゴジラ」で派手に壊されました。
青色の壁がなかなか鮮やかです。改築とか移転とか色々な説が飛び交っていますので、今のうち行っておいてはいかがでしょうか。

ロッテvsタイガース戦を観に、マリンスタジアムへ。
今回はバックネット裏のボックスシートと、特別席での観戦。
打球の動きもわかりやすく、良い場所で観戦出来ました。
ビールの売り子さんを呼ぶのが一苦労する位置ではありました。。。

久しぶりに野球も見たいと思いましたがオープン戦の日程と私の幕張の日程が合わずに断念でした、どちらにしてもコロナの影響でだめだったかもしれません。

What is the best transportation to this venue from a nearby hotel and back to hotel late in the night for the EDC event coming up. Will there be available taxis in the area? Also will they speak much English? Trying to find the best navigation system.
