I sometimes go out early in the morning and climb mountains. Tsukubasan Shrine in the early morning seems solemn and emotional. There was a cat on the top of the mountain and I was always looking forward to seeing him, but this time I couldn't. I went down the mountain hoping to see him again.

Mount Tsukuba is the sacred object of worship, with Izanagi-no-Mikoto enshrined on Mount Nantai and Izanami-no-Mikoto enshrined on Mount Nyotai. The deity is said to grant good luck in finding a partner, marital harmony, and safe childbirth. Perhaps the impression that there are many couples climbing Mount Tsukuba comes from Mount Tsukuba Shrine.

This is a power spot representing Ibaraki Prefecture, with Mount Tsukuba as its sacred object. It is one of the most prestigious shrines in the country, and is said to bring good luck in terms of marital harmony and finding a partner, so just going there makes you feel like you have good luck.

Leaving Tsukuba Onsen Hotel, we drive to the nearby Tsukubasan Shrine 筑波山神社. It is an old shrine dedicated to the worships of the sacred mountain Mt. Tsukuba.
The deities of the shrine are 筑波男大神 伊弉諾尊 and 筑波女大神 伊弉冊尊. The two are the ancestral deities of the Japanese people, who gave birth to other deities and the country. Because of the two peaks 男体山 and 女体山 of Mt. Tsukuba, lining up side by side, the people believed the two deities were enshrined here.
Before visiting the shrine, as a ritual, it is required to first wash your hands and mouth to cleanse the mind and body.
Because of the two deities, it is a popular place for people to arrange wedding ceremony. After finishing the prayers and visiting the shrines, I also get the Goshuin stamp of the shrine.

I passed by to catch the cable car. It was quite a climb, but I felt a sense of accomplishment when I reached the shrine. I prayed there. I went on the weekend, and it wasn't crowded and it was comfortable. It's hot, so don't forget to bring a drink with you.

茨城県に旅行した際に立ち寄りました。インターネットで茨城県のパワースポットである事を知ったので訪問しました。神社の歴史も古く由緒ある神社のようでしたのでパワースポットであることは納得のロケーションです。建築物も大きくお参りが興奮しました。また機会があれば訪問したいと思います。

風格のある隋神門をくぐって石段を上った先に立派な拝殿があります。本殿はふたつの山頂にあり、男体山にはイザナギノミコト、女体山にはイザナミノミコトが祀られています。2柱の神様は国造りの神話では、日本で初めてまぐわいして国をつくり、たくさんの神様を生んだとされています。このため縁結びや夫婦和合、五穀豊穣にご利益があると信仰されています。ケーブルカーに乗車すれば山頂駅までは約8分で到着しますが、山頂の本殿まではやや険しい登り道が待っています。

ケーブルカー乗車のために境内を通りました。基本的に登っていくことになるので少々疲れますが、段々と下界がよく眺められるようになり、気持ちよく登ることができました。ただ階段の段差があるため、子供連れだと大変でした。

筑波山登山の下山で、筑波山神社におりてきました。

500円の駐車場に車を停めて参拝スタートする以前も来たのでうっすら記憶が残っていた ここは山を登るイメージだ 神がかっている 大きな鈴が目印になる 本当に大きい 更に上にはロープウェイがある様だ また元気良く参拝しに来たい 28分後には、もう駐車場に戻って来ていた 30分程の時間で十分だった
