有趣的缆车可以直达山顶。还有各种游乐设施，其中“飞速过山车”真的特别好玩。这里还有一个小型动物园，可以看各种可爱的鸟类和鹿。我很爱日落的时候，这个地方像是被被点亮了！风挺大的，所以最好带件外套，哪怕是夏天也一样。不要错过披头士纪念碑。

坐缆车上去。享受许多景点，包括“颠倒的房子”，摩天轮，蹦极，雪橇，儿童汽车，逃生室，迷你动物园，宠物的房子，碰碰车等等!!所有这些都保养得很好，价格也相对合理。饿的时候，有好几家餐厅可以选择，包括一个休闲汉堡店，一个烧烤餐厅，一个日本餐厅和一个哈萨克餐厅。阿贝餐厅的食物很好，从餐厅看城市的景色很美。

这座山在阿拉木图有1100米高。它和城市间靠缆车连着。你也可以做接驳巴士或者走路上山。推荐坐缆车上山因为可以俯瞰整座城市，山顶有适合全年龄的娱乐去，包括游乐园设施，摩天轮，攀岩墙，儿童游乐区，很好的餐厅和纪念品商店，从这里看日落是个很好的地方。在坡地上还有一个很大的电视塔。推荐去看下。可以花半天在这。我的印地向导Togzhan Kussaiyn同时也是我的阿拉木图向导，她超棒，我强烈推荐她。

好吧，不可否认的是这里一直可以看到全景景观。但除此之外，这里消费水平太高了，没什么可看的。摩天轮可以带你到更高处，看更棒的景致。中国制造的“假装是哈萨克族”的纪念平都非常贵。音乐很大声，且吵闹。旋转木马很便宜。动物园里的动物都很痛苦。不管在哪里都没有停车位。餐馆很贵而且真的很难吃。有一大片空地上面没有铺路板，夏天的时候地面会非常热。哦对了，这里的景色由于空气污染的原因，都是雾蒙蒙的……我不知道，我不知道。我会更愿意去山上。至少可以呼吸到新鲜空气。

在阿拉木图的国际酒店附近搭乘了一辆缆车上山。下午6点之后去，因为大部分的活动都是在晚上进行的。山上有有餐厅、礼品店、迷你市场、厕所和其他设施，在那里享受阿拉木图的夜景吧。当我在那里的时候，舞台上有一个小型演出，所以我玩得非常开心。

We are planning for a trip towards end of March , and wondering the things or places we can visit in Kazakhstan in 9 days?

The South has more historic sites than the north. I went last September to Astana, Almaty and Shymkent and 9 days would be enough to cover all of them. Astana has all the trappings of a modern city, very clean street and interesting architecture. No real historical sites (oldest being a orthodox church from 19th century). The national museum (best one i visited in the country) is located near the biggest mosque in central asia which is huge. Most of the best artefacts have been moved here and it contains a decent souvenir shop near the entrance. If you have the time and money i would visit Astana, apart from that not too much historical things to see.
Almaty is very much like Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) in terms of how its laid out, the street look identical. Zenkov cathedral is a must, very impressive inside and outside. Lots of small museums, worth visiting some if you find the time. Independence square is located uphill so can be long walk at the end of long day. There were road works going on when i went, so to get a picture facing the monument, you need to cross a busy road. I did an exursion to Charyn Canyon from Almaty which was not too impressive, but i did go when it was cloudy. Almaty is based with the Tien Shan mountains behind it, so when you fly in or out make sure to look out of the window to get a great view. Also you could take a pic as you board your plane.
From Shymkent (Not much to see within Shymkent itself) you can do day trips to Turkestan and Taraz which 2 of the most historical sites on Kazakshtan - Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi (Turkestan) and Aisha Bibi Mausoleum (Taraz). Taraz has a few more sites but only worth it if you have an interest in it (eg. medieval tombs and sites). Turkestan can be combined with Otrar and Arystan Bab Mausoleum. Both exursions each took a day.
I found the people friendly and helpful although language was an issue for an English speaker. All the hotels were great and people all knew English there. Food can be found easily and caters to all most tastes. Dumplings are great!

Добрый день! Проезд на канатной дороге в оба конца стоит 2000 тенге, а далее на ваше усмотрение, что вы хотите посетить из развлекательных мероприятий . Просто погулять там бесплатно.

The Gondala is a great way to see the city, takes about 15 minutes, at times there you may need to wait if a large crowd, such as weekends

Will be visiting Almaty from 29 March to 1st April 2015 on a tight business trip.Can anyone suggest what places can I cover in between the breaks, and one full day break. My advantage is, I will have a full time transport with me with local driver/guide.
I want to utilize my short visit at the best.
Also want to know what will be weather that time, with kind of clothing suggested.
