It's been two years since our last visit to JB, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We were excited to find that Walea Spa was still in business and made sure that we placed a booking a week ahead of our visit to JB. Booking was seamless and responses were very prompt over Facebook.
We were glad to find that Walea Spa is still as good our previous visit, prior to the border closures. Service was excellent and welcoming, as before. There were some changes to comply with government SOP, but the overall experience was uncompromised and excellent! I really miss coming here and will definitely drop by again on our next trip to JB :)

very sorry to say 1.that the scrub and massage was not good.
I did not feel good about it. Expected to feel nice after the massage session but I didn't. Me and my daughter did not enjoy at all., your package was not good And also 2.no one drinks cold or Luke warm water after massage session. First time I have been served cold drink after a massage., suppose to give hot warm drinks to your customers. And
3.there was not enough soap in the bath.
Your therapist did not even check before sending us in to take bath.
4.the towels given to wipe body after bath was too small not suitable for adults. They were very small.. Children towels
I wanted a massage and scrub to feel good. It overall the feeling was not pleasant.. Bad

Excellent massage and service. Evelyn had excellent customer service. Pleasantly surprised with the foot cleaning before and masaage during was comfortable. After massage, evelyn gave a briefing on problem points to focus on. This is my 2nd time here and brought my parents along as it was good.

We took the couple Rose Refresh package. The masseurs use Long strokes and we felt so relaxed. The scrub was good and Moisturizing. Excellent spa with easy booking via WhatsApp. Conveniently located within walking distance from KSL mall.

Went there with my wife for the "Rose Refresh" package. However, the first impression was already marred by a "sweaty" smell emanating from the massage bed (my wife thinks it came from the leather), while I was put off by the stench in the en-suite toilet.
The masseurs did a good job though, but the environment was a let down.

I initially communicated to make an appointment for a massage but was strongly advised not to at that time cos I had acupuncture treatment the previous day. I really appreciated an honest and experienced advice from Evelyn (boss lady) to hold off till a week later as it is not advisable to maneuver my sore area at that time. She wasn't worried that she did not get to make a business deal but rather be frank and ensure that I am safe and comfortable. Instead I had my facial done by her very experienced staff Jasmine who did a great job for my face. She also advised me on many good health tips. I shall be back when I'm back in town. Thanks Evelyn.

Have tried many types of massages but always had to suffer soreness and bruising for the next few days. Walea Spa's massage was effective, thorough and relaxing without after effects! The spa environment was warm and welcoming. Evelyn, the lady boss is friendly and knowledgeable, and explains the treatments well. Very reasonably priced. Only negative its that its located in Johor Bahru and has no branches in KL.

This home spa offers a cosy and relaxing ambience. Easily accessible from KSL mall nearby. We booked couple massage for 2 hrs.
The lady boss was friendly and explained to us the Swedish massage process beforehand. After the session, she even shared with us some tips on how to alleviate body aches in our daily routines. How thoughtful!
The massage session was splendid! Our masseurs were professional and skilful, and gave us a perfectly relaxing massage. The session was certainly value-for-money! Will definitely come back again! 😀

We wanted to go to this spa as it was near KSL Mall. It was by sheer luck we managed to get an appointment. We were on the waiting list since we didn’t book earlier. The manager contacted me as soon as someone cancelled. I really wanted a relaxing massage after a long and hectic week!
The facilities may not look as posh as the spas in resorts and hotels, but the customer service and professionalism is unparalleled. I have been nursing a very sore and painful right arm the whole week and could not even lift it (I may have twisted it while lifting heavy luggages). I shared my concern about having massage on my shoulder and right arm but Evelyn, the manager, assured me that they would treat it gently. During the massage session itself, the therapist found a knot in my upper back and duly started to knead it and apply pressure to it. She assured me that it would help relief me of the pain. It did hurt a bit during the session but I was really surprised that after the massage, the pain in my back and shoulder was significantly reduced and my arm felt so much better. I can actually lift it now! I’m not sure what they did, but it really helped! Quite amazing.
The manager even texted me a day later to check if my arm was feeling better. We definitely don’t get this level of service from all other spas we’ve been to. Definitely coming back and highly recommended!

The entire experience was an absolute joy. We settled on the couples massage at Walea specifically due to the outstanding reviews that they had received, and we were not disappointed. The facilities were adequate, and most importantly clean and presentable. Everybody there was very kind, friendly, and courteous to us from start to finish, and the massage itself was top-notch. My S/O had actually left behind a gold earring in the bathroom, and we only realised later that day late into the night. I immediately messaged the owner of Walea, Evelyn, and despite the late hour she reassured me that her and her staff would look for it the first thing the following morning. They eventually found the missing earring for me and I was able to retrieve it from them the following day. Now that's how you ensure returning customers! Will most definitely be coming back. Highly recommended to all!

Hi, is it necessary to do a booking and if so, how can I do so as I do not live in Malaysia and would just be in JB for the day.
