It's an okay place just to take a gentle afternoon stroll. Not much to appreciate but still a decent experience.

A nice place to take a stroll especially when the tide is high. The calm bluish green waters is a sight to behold.
One can try their luck in fishing for estuarine fishes. Fishing boats lined the riverbanks especially in the evenings.
Budget hotels and eateries are found along this stretch too.
Nice place to meet and chat.

Many local people call it pantai mersing,this beautiful wide beach is a nice place to take a rest and enjoying the wind from south china sea.

The beach at Mersing Esplanade is large and within easy walking distance from the centre of town, it is also located next to the ferry terminal from where you catch the boats to the islands.
Although not dirty it could benefit from a bit of a clean up. However well worth a visit whilst waiting for your boat departure for the offshore islands, indeed on a clear day you get a magnificent view of all the islands offshore Mersing in the South China Sea. When we visited it was deserted !!!

Walked down from the town to see the waterfront and the beach!
I have never in Malaysia seen a more disgusting and dirty beach then this! There is garbage everywhere and the water is brown!!
There is men walking around to pick up leaves, but not the garbage?
The place have a lot of potential, just keep the place clean!

Located not far from Mersing old town, this place is quite a nice place to visit. You will get the feel of the cooling wind gusting throughout your stroll on the beach. There is also parking available beside the beach. There are also souvenirs shops located next to the beach, where you can purchase souvenirs as a remembrance that you visited this place.

Lovely walk along the seashore with light breeze providing relieve from the heat. Snacking and enjoying cold drinks in the shade. The whole promenade is about half a mile long, there is an area for exercise and plenty of parking.

Une balade sur ce front de mer en fin de journée est bien agréable. La chaleur est tombée. C est très familial. Il y a de l air. Et on partage la flânerie avec les habitants de la ville .

Nice clean sandy beach, on a clear day good views of turtle island, food stalls and able to do horse ridding along the beach. Children's play area. About 10 min walk from town center, 5 mins from jetty , (ferry to tioman island.)
Worth the walk.
