It was quiet. We let ourselves into the temple. Just make sure all gates are closed after you enter. The temple is fascinating. Beautiful paintings and interior decor. Outside, there are interesting statues and structures. Remember to not feed the birds and dogs in the temple. Other than that, you are free to roam around.

The interior of the chapel is really beautiful and there are some good photo opportunities outside. The place needs maintenance though. In the stairs to the chapel where you are supposed to take off your shoes, there's bird droppings all over.

This are one of the oldest siam wat (temple) at Alor Setar. It's a local buddhist always go pray at this siam wat.

What is striking is its architecture that has Thai elements infused with some Chinese motifs, an influence borne by a minority of Chinese Buddhist and Thais (Indians also form the minority) living in the state

Very nice and quiet enviroment to visit if you have time ..The building are the Siam style building. Most of the local Chinese do their prayer here.

this is a very niece and peaceful place, good place to pray and sight seeing, ample parking lot around the watt.

It's a biggest Buddhist Temple in Alor Setar.The building are the Siam style building. Most of the local Chinese do their prayer here.
That always function going on during the special day of Buddhist celebration.
If you travel to Alor Setar you must visit here. It's a nice place to take photo as a memorial that you had visited Alor Setar.

This Thai style temple is quite beautifully decorated and serves the Alor Setar area people with their religious events. The temple breath a sphere of quietness and often you can hear the chanting monks. They will chant for you on special requests too. The Temple is also used to keep the ashes of the people who passed away, local families reservate space in the wall or even in conditioned rooms to stay together for eternity. Many locals come here to pray their wishes for their beloveds
