Overall the beach in East side of Malaysia is great. Felt open with less modern development. Went around this area to get some fresh keropok lekor.

Was there to view the sunrise . was an awesome experience and view. But its all subjective to weather. So better be there by 6.30am

Beach is quite clean but few group of stray dogs around. Was planning for a morning walk along the beach with family but cancelled the plan after seeing the stray dogs. Beach quite clean but too quiet for my liking probably due to cmco.

Nice place for family getering or group team building, tent with electrik socket, toilet are separated but its clean, located at near to the beach, easy to get food by the main road, also have big hall for indoor activity

one of my favorite beach, definitely must go here again someday. what a beautiful and perfect beach to hangout. with the cleanliness and the beautiful view. you will never find a single trash out there

Be careful of the occasional rough coastal waves.
Many stalls to visit during peak season; don't miss the nasi dagang/lemak/kerabu restaurant at the beginning of the Cherating entrance. Stalls open by 7.30 - 8 am

A beach that facing east so no sunset view during the dawn. The sand is very soft and the wave is very strong. So not recommend for swim. The crowed is not that much. The wind quite strong. The beacb is clean and nice place to walk with soft sand.

Pantai Balok is definitely better than Pantai Teluk Chempedak. The beach is clean and suitable for swimming. Free parking.

Free parking and little commercialization makes this beach perfect for a private getaway. The sun rises from the water horizon, perfect for the mood and pictures.

There is a couple of beach around Kuantan. such as TC, Balok, Besera. Pantai Balok is reasonable distance, not very near and far from city center. and many resort with accommodation.
