我提前好几个月就预定了票，付了预订款，而且提前一天通过邮件确认。因为“技术故障”，火车之旅取消了。最后一刻才通知我们，我们全家大失所望。不知道这种取消的情况是不是经常发生

我买的是5月11号的车票，直到今天早上（今天是5月8号），我才收到邮件，被告知行程已经取消。我明白，这列火车已经有年头了，可能存在各种各样的隐患，因此才取消了这趟班次。但好像火车在四月份的时候就已经坏掉了，为什么铁路公司不早点通知乘客呢？或者，最起码提前发个警告，以便我们有充裕的时间来改签，或重做安排。关键是，这列火车一星期就运行两趟，乘客不多，铁路公司只需要联系少量的乘客就行了，但他们依然没有做到。

由于他们的问题，两天前他们取消了我的预定。虽然他们退了钱，却用了三周的时间。退的钱比我付的要少20%，不是因为货币兑换。这是有可能也出现在你身上的问题，如果你接受这种状况，你可以预定这个活动。

北婆罗洲铁路在火车旅行的前一天晚上通知我们，行程被取消了。我们的家庭计划是围绕着这段旅程展开的。我们调整了度假计划，打算4天后乘火车去。但行程又一次在出发的前一天晚上取消了。没有解释，只是取消了。不要浪费时间把这个活动列入你的假期计划，这里完全不值得信赖，也缺乏客户服务。糟透了。

很遗憾，我们的团队无法完成我们的旅程，因为引擎无法产生足够的蒸汽让我们在下半场晚些时候上山，我们不得不返回KK - 因此只有'平均'评级。这意味着我们没有看到更多的农村地区。 然而，这是一个很棒的旅行方式，我很享受早餐和（几乎所有）午餐。火车的工作人员很可爱，这是我们在KK度过最后一天的一部分的放松方式。

这是一次愉快的郊游（我喜欢火车旅行！）和用一种放松的方式去看乡村。我们有两站可以下车，我们可以跳下车，在村子里四处看看。这些都很有趣，但没有什么特别之处，只是在市场的摊位上闲逛，虽然在第一站我们可以参观附近的寺庙，但现在回想起来，我们可能会有一个更好的选择。火车上的食物和服务很好。

之前我看到许多乘客的点评都在抱怨延误的问题，还有点担心。不过我们7月7号的这趟车程是准点的，实际上还早到了几分钟。这段4小时的旅途是一段很棒的体验，要是你有时间的话，一定要尝试点不一样的。搭乘火车前往亚庇南部的这段旅程无疑是很精彩的，比我们参观城镇更重要。这段旅程有点贵，但对于一些你只会做一次的事情来说，还是很值得的。我能想象如果下雨，或者列车出点问题而造成行程延误，会让人感到很沮丧的。

这趟旅程不便宜，但我认为钱花得很值。注重细节而且员工很棒。车厢被完好复原了，很喜欢员工的制服、护照印章，而且每一站都提供冰镇毛巾让你保持凉爽。车上提供很多食物和饮料。午餐以鱼肉为主，我不太喜欢吃鱼，但如果你之前吃了那些份量的食物你应该会觉得已经很饱了。尽管火车经停的小镇没给我留下太深印象，而且也没经停很多小镇，但我觉得这是领略田园乡村风光的一种不错的方式。蒸汽引擎可能有些泄露，车有几次不得不停下来再次加热蒸汽，才能继续前进，但这也是蒸汽机车的迷人之处啊！！超爱它！！！

Go on the regular train and take some food and water, just enjoy he amazing trip which cost you so little. The tourist steam train looked dead, really a rip off as it seldom seemed to make the short rip on the flat section let alone reach the scenic parts which lay beyond Beaufort.

We will be staying at Tanjung Aru Beach Hotel from 29 March through 02 April. What would be the most economical way to book for Saturday 01 April for 2 people? What is the price per person? The stream train operates on Saturday and Wednesday 0930hrs leaving on time at 1000hrs.
Booking?
Visit the Tanjung Aru travel shop and book with them , you can charge some excursions too your room, you cannot charge this too your room as it is run and managed by Sutera Harbour resort.
It was for the two of us in Dec2016 £90 about MR450.
No discounts, unless you are a Malaysian national, tourist pay the stated full price.
The Tanjung Aru has it's own taxi desk it is MR40 to the Tanjung Aru stesen (Tanjung Aru Station) it is on the way to the airport a large white building you will have driven past it on the way to your hotel, you can let the travel shop arrange the taxi but it will be MR80 each way.
You return to the station at1330hrs. You do not need to book a return taxi fare with the hotel desk as taxis turn up at 1330hrs to pick up any tourists.
It is MR30 return to your hotel or you can for the same fare you can go into KK, the return fare from KK to the Tanjung Aru is also MR30.
All taxi fares from Tanjung Aru to KK city are MR40.

RM345.00Nett per adult /per child (Age above 4 years old ) (Inclusive 10% and 6% GST)
Complimentary for children below 3 years old
Inclusion:
The fare is inclusive of Continental breakfast and Tiffin-style lunch. For guests of Sutera Harbour Resort, the fare is also inclusive of complimentary return transfer from the Resort to Tanjung Aru Station.
