我们从市中心花了5林吉特乘坐水上出租车到了这里，并在阿斯塔纳码头下车。只需要走几分钟就能到达花园。花园可以免费进入，但是周一不开放。花园道路宽阔布局美观。花园在不同的层，所以有一些坡度。这里还有一些小商店和咖啡馆。我们通过新桥回到城市。我们非常享受这次从河边漫步回到市区的路程。

这不是一个很大的地方，但他们有美丽的花园，有许多不同品种的兰花。工作人员很热情。可能食品和饮料设施需要改进。总的来说，对于当地人和沙捞越的游客，都值得来这里一游。

不是一个大花园，但是植物被照顾得很好，很健康。这是员工敬业的标志。在那里呆上一个小时是值得的，特别是当你有一辆车的时候，因为场地很偏远，没有公共交通工具。入口处有一家小店，但管理得不太好——如果柜台上有工作人员，我本可以带一件t恤衫来支持会场，因为它是免费入场的。但它不招人待见——灯熄了，周围没有人……

just stand and wait at the ramp opposite the "ASTINA"?( which is on the opposite bank), a 'sampan' ( water taxi) will come and collect you. The same will happen when you want to return. They keep on going all the time in daytime. Costs 1 ringitt per person per crossing. The gardens do not open Monday. Enjoy.

If I get a water taxi across the river is it a long walk to the garden,what are the opening hours, and what would the cost be if I caught a taxi from the city centre?

I can't remember the opening hours but definitely take a little ferry across the river and walk. It is not far at all. You can't go in but you can see the Astana and Chief Ministers residence on either side of the road. The orchid garden is large and on a slope. If it's really hot, take an umbrella for shade.

What are the opening hours of the orchid garden ? And if I go across the river by water taxi is it a long walk to the garden. And how much would it cost to get there by a taxi?

The opening hours are 9.30am to 6.00pm but they are not open on a Monday. We took the river taxi which was very cheap and fun but you will have to wait until they get a fair number of passengers which we were happy to do. To take a taxi would be a long way round but I do not know the cost. It is not far to walk to the garden once you get to the other side.
