We are glad that you had enjoyed the view from the top of the fort. And we are also glad that your visit here had provided an insight into your understanding of the relationship that Sarawakians had with their Rajah. 这座古堡最近被修复，如今又有许多有趣的展品在这里可以看到。进去看展览需要购票，但是里面的陈列和整理会让游客了解到这是一个非常值得一来的地方，这里讲述了从1500年到1946年间，沙捞越成为英国殖民地的历史。这里还允许拍照。

最近都有在做着很多复新工程，把这个古堡弄成更好. 里面的历史解说，弄得很整齐. 能够真正了解到整个洲的历史.值得参观的地方。

博物馆虽小，但深入探究了统治古晋但并非为英国的英国人的历史。信息丰富，但有点贵 - 您可以在婆罗洲文化博物馆获得类似的信息。很高兴能走到瀑布旁边的堡垒。

博物馆充满了丰富的历史，堡垒本身很适合拍照。这个地方很少拥挤，是必去之地——尤其是对砂拉越历史感兴趣的人。

Hi Ian B,
You can find us on Google Map as well as on Waze.
However, for those without the apps, best landmark to search would be Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya, Kuching. You’ll find our entrance as you reach the big parking lot of Wisma Bapa Malaysia. There’ll be 2 signage that will lead you to us.
Or, as BobBonHere had suggested, you could also opt to take the sampan from the jetty just behind The White Barouk/ Riverbank Suite to Kampung Boyan Jetty. The sampan ride is RM1.00 per person.
As you dock at Kampung Boyan Jetty, you'd see a few of our blue signage that would lead you to Fort Margherita. Just so you know, you'll pass by some local houses.
Proceed for a little walk up the hill until you see an abandoned school building. Follow the path going up - from there, you'd reach a tarmac road where there'll be a Fort Margherita signage on your left. You'll also notice 2 construction containers at the end of the road. There's a small gate next to one of the containers which is the entrance to the Fort.

Guys how do you walk from the jetty to this Fort?. Checked on google map, the walking direction is about 2 to 3KM from either Batu Jetty or En Omar Jetty.

Take the sampan to the jetty. Walk up the stairs, around the abandon school and through the grounds. About 8 mins from jetty to the fort.
