I especially liked the exterior facade of this cathedral. The interior is to be seen and it is a nice place to pray.

A very impressive Catedral which dates back to 1775 but was destroyed by fire in 1930 but took till 1964 to re-open? Officiated by Pope Paul VI and I can safely say, they did a good job. Very impressive main altar and a nice interior with colourful side altars. Bought some candles from the local ladies out the front and lit to send prayers to sick back home. Something I like to do around the world on visits. Very nice to see the Church open & available to the public to view & admire.

We couldn't see inside because it was closed. However, from the outside it is reasonable, large, but impressive. What really draws attention is the number of pigeons in front of the church and in the square.

I visited the Puno Cathedral during my stay in August for the visit to Lake Titicaca. I was very undecided whether or not to pass through Puno due to the protests that were held in March 2023, but in the end the atmosphere I breathed in this square and inside the cathedral was a joyful and peaceful atmosphere.

nyone who enters, regardless of religion, is impressed by the building and its splendour.

Muy bonita por dentro y fuera, se pueden hacer fotos en el interior. Nos quedamos a misa, fue toda una experiencia hacerlo. Súper recomendable la visita.

Esta igreja e a Praça onde se encontra é o ponto de referência para que se preocupe hospedagem em Puno, pois é o local mais turistico. Sendo assim, se tem banco, câmbios, restaurantes, bares, farmácias, tudo ali por perto. Lembre que Puno é uma cidade a mais de 3 mil metros de altitude, logo, qualquer esforço é difícil. A igreja em si é simpática, não se cobra nada para ingressar.
