Our experience with Saferide was excellent. They responded very punctually to my emails and enquiries. Most of our trips were completed by Bryan. He was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend Bryan and Saferide to other visitors to Cebu and we will certainly use them again when we return.

Saferide Car Rental is a gem of a find. We had an excellent experience with them when we visited Cebu back in February for 5 weeks. Much more reasonable hire price than other well known international companies.
Communication with Jessa was excellent. All staff were very friendly and courteous. Joseph was very patient with us at pick up when we couldn’t find the car after a 30 + hr journey from the UK. The vehicle (Toyota Vios) was new at less than a year old, very clean when delivered and drove well with no issues. We hired the car for over 30days as we were travelling with a baby. Boot capacity was good and it had isofix for a baby seat that we brought with us from the UK. Ronel made the return very easy and the hire of the car was seamless. This will definitely be our go to hire firm in the future.

Great service, organization for our car rental which we booked from NZ.
Our family of 4 hired the car for 5 days- cost was very reasonable.
No issues with the booking and expected service/car readiness.
Good car.
They showed us the existing marks (which we also videoed), and we’re a pleasure to deal with.
Both Ronnel and Kim were great to deal with (one for pick up, other for drop off)
No issues- would happily recommend!

Our driver Bryan was punctual, polite and very friendly. He was very knowledgeable and assured that we had an interesting and enjoyable trip. We would recommend Bryan to fellow travellers.

This rental company has a policy of fleecing customers that damage cars. My advice is that should you damage the car at all you should either have the car repaired yourself or get a quote from a reputable repair shop before returning it. Their attitude in this regard is deplorable.

Rented a self-drive car for 14 days at Christmas time. We arrived just after a major cyclone. Despite limited cell phone coverage, they arranged a car for me and waited after hours at the airport when our flight was delayed.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Picked up the car, barely used it. I was very careful not to put any scratches. took images of the car prior to pick up and still they found some tiny scratch and charged me $500 extra. Avoid using this company. They advertise cars 200-300 below market and then get the money back by scamming people. When I called to clarify the extra charges they sent me a picture of a tiny scratch on the inside of the back door. which we never even used. These people are scammers.

As a retired Business Travel Manager with an International Airline I can comment with experience on customer service. I have rented vehicles from Saferide in Cebu for a number of years including dealing directly with their manager Alfred Go. Alfred and his team offer a service second to none. When I think of car rental in Cebu I only think of Saferide. Their service is friendly and efficient. Their vehicles are in excellent condition allowing me to drive to the Province with complete confidence. Their rates are more than competitive.
Currently times in the car rental industry are extremely challenging due to covid19 so I would encourage anyone to support this company if you are in a position to do so.

Best thing to do would be to hire a car or van. You can do it right at the airport as you head to the taxi stand. You can also haggle a price with a taci driver. Safe bet would be about 2500-3000 pesos one way.

I have used them on multiple days for 3 hrs, 14 hrs and airport transfer. E-mail them to get quotes. Price will depend on vehicle size and time used. Very easy to work with during the entire time we were in Cebu.

Hi,
My husband and I will arrive in Mactan Airport on March 26 at 1:30 pm. We need a car to take us to Catmon , Cebu to visit some relatives and then take to our hotel in Cebu city. This will probably take 6 hrs.
How much will it cost me. I will just need a compact car.
