We had a great walk, it was on the verge of too tough for a 66 year old.We really used their GPS. Directions were misleading at times. Good accommodations and food. Aurora was on phone to help us when we got lost and arranged a ride for us as our day was now too long

This company once had favorable reviews but we found the tracks and directions for the self guided hiking trip from Brasov to be outdated and at times vague. The batteries for the GPS died on the third day and when we put in the back up batteries provided they were dead as well. The courses lead from town to town but some of the accommodations were way outside of town and we only discovered this once we arrived in each location, adding an extra 2 - 3 miles to the hikes. Two of the places where we stayed were very run down although the owners were nice. Thankfully the Romanian folks we encountered were very helpful in calling taxis for us when the directions did not lead us to our destinations. I tried to discuss these issues with the owner but was just given a lot of excuses and the blame was placed on us even though we've traveled all over the world and one of our group is a highly skilled hiker. In addition, paid for two rooms but was only given one room for one night and one owner was completely caught off guard when we showed up at 3:00 because it had been raining and we grabbed a ride. We think she didn't know that we were coming because she had to be called to come open up and then scrambled to get our rooms ready. We ended up abandoning the final leg of our trip as the weather was dicey and the accommodations kept getting worse and worse. Such a shame because the countryside is stunning and the people who live there are kind and gracious! Food was fantastic though.

This company may have been good once and the reviews on their own website are excellent.
However, we were given very out of date walking instructions for our self guided walk to see the fortified Saxon Churches.
No compass or GPS was provided.
We only managed to find our way due to the skill of one our group members.
Inexperienced walkers would've been lost very quickly.
Luggage transfers and accommodation was fine.
