I decided immediately on the low price. It is 1800 yen and 1600 yen if you have a loop bus ticket.
Cruises in the harbor are good. Seeing the city from the sea is a different view. Kobe is a stylish city, but it is interesting because it also has a shipyard. I was well timed to see the submarine under construction.
Bay cruises include the Royal Princess and Mizafune Atake Maru. You can choose whichever you like according to the departure time. The room on the Gozabune was Japanese and luxurious. I was outside on deck, so half of me wished I had been inside.

A nice cruise around Kobe port, but a bit short at 45 minutes. Choice of modern white ship or vintage red one. Costs ¥1400 for adults, ¥700 for kids 7-12, and ¥1200 for people 13-18 years old, or over 65. Located between Kobe Port Tower & Harborland, within walking distance of Sannomiya & Motomachi stations.

Took evening cruise at 7.45 pm , kobe looks beautiful, merikan park ,Ferris wheel with changing colors look awesome in cool breeze..

サンセットを期待してやってきたものの、雲行きが怪しくなってきたので、
現地でレインボーナイトクルーズなるイベントを聞き、そのクルーズ参加で予定変更。
通常40分のクルーズ1,300円のところ、10分短い30分クルーズで1,000円でしたが、
これを選んで大正解でした。

Like a lot of the other reviewers said, this cruise went around a bay filled with shipyards. We were surprised that we were already heading back when all we had seen were cranes and docks. Might have been better appreciated if the running commentary on the cruise included English translation, instead of just all in Japanese. We also went around what seemed to be a hop on hop off bus, seems to be because there was a girl standing in the middle of the bus making nonstop commentary the whole time. But commentary was all in Japanese as well, so we can't be sure if she was just announcing stops, but tended to take the entire way to announce each stop.
