关于岚山岚山(Arashiyama)是日本京都府京都市的一个观光地，以赏枫叶(秋季)和樱花(春季)而知名。“岚山”这地名原本是专指位于桂川右岸、属于京都市西京区一部份的岚山地区，而河对岸、属于右京区的地区则名为嵯峨野，但近年来许多观光导览资料都概括性地，将以横跨桂川的渡月桥为中心之河左右两岸周边地区，合称为岚山。岚山自平安时代以来就是许多贵族的别庄所在地，其名称经常出现在历史故事与古典文学作品之中。由于桂川河岸在每年春季与秋季都有大面积的野生樱花与枫林可观赏，因此长期以来也是观光旅游的热门点之一。整个岚山地区是以横跨桂川的渡月桥作为中心，这条桥的命名起源于龟山上皇的一句“似满月过桥般”的诗作而得名，虽然外观上渡月桥有着木桥般的造型，但今日的渡月桥实际上是座钢筋混凝土构造、能够让汽车行走其上的现代化桥梁，只是采用复古的木制护栏以配合周遭的景致。在渡月桥附近的桂川河段习惯上又被称为大堰川(ooikawa)。除了自然景观外，岚山地区也是很多日本知名古刹神社的所在地，与多位古代日本天皇的安葬之处，因此前来此地参拜庙宇神社也是游客主要的观光重点之一。在诸多神社庙宇之中，地位最重要的应属名列世界遗产名单的天龙寺，除此之外像是曾经出现在日本文学名著源氏物语中的野宫神社，与收藏有日本国宝级佛像的清凉寺，也是非常重要的历史建筑与景点。在1980年代，位于渡月桥北侧的大街上陆续开设了许多艺人商店，并逐渐变成学生进行修学旅行(毕业旅行)的热门去处。泡沫经济后，艺人商店呈减少趋势。1990年代，不少小型博物馆开始出现。2004年，在岚山地区挖掘了温泉。所以现在岚山地区也是温泉游的去处之一。

岚山是京都洛西最主要的观光胜地，桂川南岸是岚山地区，桂川北岸是嵯峨野地区，不过一般旅游书籍都以岚山概称整个岚山嵯峨野。岚山最有名的景点，是不用付费的渡月桥、竹林、野宫神社与岚山大街，樱花季、枫叶季、假日都挤满游客。我比较喜欢岚山的寺院，如天龙寺、大觉寺、宝筐院...。夏末来岚山，站在渡月桥上往大堰川望去，翠绿的山峦已有部分林木开始转黄。走在岚山大街上，经过米菲樱面包店，米菲兔造型的面包，非常可爱。

以为会太晚，结果还是太早。
虽然天候不理想，还是很尽责的拍了我眼中的岚山，在某个快门时许了个小愿。

岚山是观光胜地，来自世界各地的旅客将岚山挤得水泄不通，有许多帅气的小鲜肉拉的人力车，很有古早味。除了有名的天龙寺，很建议再花门票进附近的宝严院，里面日式庭园整理的好棒，枫叶好多真的很美。再去竹林，可是蛮失望的。人太多没有那种感觉。时间太赶，没坐到磋硪野小火车。

嵯峨野小火车很舒服, 车程意外的长呢~ 坐到第5卡车大家都很兴奋, 沿途拍个不停, 要是能在红叶季节来一家更加美丽~
坐完小火车就到竹林小径逛了, 外国游客姐姐们的拍照pose都很杀呀~ 完全学不来那个霸气~

京都旁旅游胜地，中之岛公园是赏樱重点，风和日丽时，非常适合来这边野餐，占地广大、不像京都市区赏樱景点那样万头钻动，枝垂樱樱王在此

第二次来岚山还是很美，谢谢老天爷给了好天气，从阪急岚山ㄧ路散步到岚山渡月桥再走到竹林小径一路上的风景很放松很惬意⋯⋯这里真的很适合慢游的好地方。

来之前没有抱太大期望，但是的确是很适合放松的地方，附近的建筑物很精美，风景也很不错，我们遇到了下雨，就在岚山公园的亭子里等雨停，是很棒的体验

Not very sure was there any sign but if there isn’t you can use Google map live and it will arrow point you to the destination. For my case, I just follow the crowd and it a 1.5-2km away.

How experienced a hiker does one have to be to so this hike? My husband and I are in our mid-70's and will be coming to Japan (first visit) in October (we hope!). I'm trying to find transportation in English to get pre-acquainted with the public transport around Kyoto. I am MOST interested in the Netsuke Museum near the Mibu Dera Temple. Streets lined with older architecture interest us also. Hordes of tourists, do not! Thank you! KatB.

You dont have to be experienced hiker to do this is fairly level for most of the way .The public transport in Kyoto is very easy to use good train and metro system and the buses are easy enought o use as well and if you have the Google translate app on your phone it is a good addition

Hi, there is no parking area near the forest that I can remember, you would need to park in the town and walk which is only a short distance or walk from your hotel depending on the location.

I want to take some (long-exposure) photos at Arashiyama before visitors arrive and when there are just a few folks there very early in the morning. How early should I arrive? Getting up at 4-5 is not abnormal for photographers. Are there trains that early from Kyoto station? I'll be at the Cross Hotel Kyoto.

Correct! It would be nice if you come to the place as early as you can. 7 in the morning would be a perfect time. Most of the trains and buses starts operating around 5AM. But I would recommend to use Google maps and it would be of great help for planning your trip all around Japan as it is accurate based on my experienced of course.

Ciao, dipende molto dalla zona in cui avrete l'hotel ma comunque direi che mezza giornata (anche meno) basta e avanza.
Calcola che per visitare la foresta di bambù ci si mette 20 minuti…. ti consiglio di essere li alla mattina molto presto o nel tardo pomeriggio per evitare le orde di turisti .
