The Eco Forest walk is a really scenic canopy walk situated next to the menara KL in thr heart of Kuala Lumpur. I simply adored this long canopy walk as you could really experience the charming aesthetics of the tropics. It was very humid. I eoupd suggest go in the morning. There was also another track which we had no time to explore. Altogether it was really enjoyable and took less than an hour to complete. The rates were different for Malaysians and foreigners.

Anyone looking for the "KL Forest Eco-Park" in "google-maps" definitely ends up at the barrier of the sewage treatment plant and is expelled by the nice doorman of the place. There is no "KL Forest Eco-Park" in Kuala Lumpur that is open to the public!
One should rather search for the "Taman Eko-Rimba Kuala Lumpur (TERKL)" and try to find it. Poorly signposted by all railway lines, recently closed on Fridays and otherwise closed in bad weather. Current opening hours: Mon. - Sun. 8.00 am to 4.30 pm!

An excellent break . Enjoyed the food and the facilities the hotels offered . Our first stop was Sunway Resort Hotel . Absolutely brilliant hotel, ideal for families as the theme park is attached to the hotel and there is mall there too with an ice skating rink.
Second stop was the Ritz Carlton, again ideal location for shopping and visiting other malls in a very close vicinity. Travelling around KL or is very easy using their Grab taxi service .
Would definitely recommend this destination as I’m sure to visit again

Great place to visit, took lots of great pics in the canopy & everyone was very friendly in taking pics of us or waiting patiently while we took pics.
The guy at the entrance told us what path we should take & we followed his suggestion. Have to say the canopy was the best part & the rest wasn't worth the time or energy, really (went in July & it was very hot).
It's right beside KL Tower, so both can be done one after the other quite easily.
I'd go again to this one to take more pics.

Incredibly disappointed. Very run down and left to the elements, basically this reminded me of the set of TV series 'Lost. Basic trails set amongst bland vegetation, very little wildlife to see or experience and some seriously shocking and potentially dangerous elements - jungle gym left to rot, exposed wiring on lights, unmaintained trails and even cut tops and rotten wood on one trail which I couldn't believe hadn't been roped off for safety. As for the 'bamboo walk, couldn't even find a path! May have been pleasant 10 years ago but now the jungle has overtaken the whole place.
The only positive was the tower walkways when you first enter the place, at least they provided an elevated view of the city, although they are short and basic and lacking in information.
Overall, it felt like the ticket office just took my money (40MR each!) and laughed at another tourist who fell for this trap. Avoid at all cost, I'd be disappointed if this was free....

Actually a nice park, but very unkempt.
None of the service houses were occupied. Cards are only available via QR codes in an app.
The orchid garden and herb garden had dried up.
Everything a little neglected.
Only the treetop path was pretty.
For smaller children quite steep and difficult.

Lovely way to spend the afternoon. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk. Tickets are 40Rm per adult and half price for children.
Woodland scenery, right in the middle of the city. You can stroll at you own pace and enjoy the views. We spotted a few animals and enjoyed walking along the various bridges.

Stay away - tourist trap! Completely run down, partly closed and horribly expensive. Not worth to visit, unless it would be free.

This is a hill with some trees and some mediocre trails. There is no visible wildlife apart from some ants I saw crawling into the public toilet. If only you could wash your hands with ants because the toilets did not have any working water supply. Sign-posting was bad. Many tourists walking around lost and all asking the same question which was “Is this all there is?” It looks like it was made a park because the land was too hilly to be developed and the city authorities were looking for an “ECO” badge. If it was free and not 40RM per person I still wouldn’t go back.

This place should have been free and hopefully people would want to come. The whole place is kind of abandoned, dirty and not taken care of. All the plants are mostly dead. Leaving wild leaves to be seen.

Does all sections or towers of canopy walk undergoing maintenance as of September 2019?
撰写日期:2019年9月30日
I was there 3 weeks ages and the whole canopy walk was closed and didn’t look like it was going to open any time soon. There is no point in visiting the park if the walk isn’t open as it was fairly rubbish and in a poor state of repair.

Some websites imply 7am-7pm
We got there a little before 5pm and the shop/information centre and tea rooms had all closed (5pm nominal closing time) The security guard said that the grounds closed at 6pm. Sorry, I cannot help with opening times.

Does this lead to the Petronas Twin Towers?
I'm planning on doing this eco-park such that it leads to the Towers as I have this booked for the evening.
撰写日期:2018年8月16日
Thank you I went there today and your right it leads to the KL towers and not Petronas towers.
Yes it closes at 6pm.

Can I do this when it rains? I’ve read some reviews that mentioned it’s inadvisable to do so because of mosquitos and snakes. Please advise. Thanks.
撰写日期:2018年8月1日
I am not sure about the wildlife, but I would be more concerned about slipping or falling over, especially in heavy rain. Some of the slopes are quite steep.
