I felt secure to stroll because there were forestry students around. Even though the park is modest, the humidity is really uncomfortable. After the nighttime shower, there were insects.

Take the bus (or a taxi) for the trip up if you don't want to start your adventure hot and sweaty. The entrance to the park is just down the road from KL Tower, and it's a steep climb by foot to get there.
Entrance for non Malaysians is MYR40. Hopefully they're using that income to fix the place up, because there's a lot of stuff that's in a sorry state of disrepair.

This “eco” park is a waste of money and the entrance fee is exorbitant. We did the canopy walk in about five minutes and the experience was truly underwhelming. We left shortly afterwards. Don’t waste your money on this “attraction”.

In my opinion, hell looks like this. The main difference is that you pay a lot to enter.
Never seen so many mosquitos (really !), tracks are not really interesting, sometimes abandonnés, not the slightest usable information, signs are useless, canopy is … fine. We ran out of the park. Our kids payed counting the mosquito bites…

Un auténtico fiasco, para nada recomendable y además muy caro comparado a la vida y gastos en KL (8€).
Lo primero que de vida animal no vimos ni escuchamos nada, e intentamos permanecer un buen rato por si acaso, ya que era lo único que merecía la pena, y lo segundo es que el paseo es de 10 (alguna foto bonita pero para nada merece la pena).

Wonderful environment, plenty trees and plants, jogging and walking track, a very good location for morning or evening exercises for individuals and family.

We visited with our two boys and they loved the canopy walkway.
The place is not updated, no signs about the trees that you can actually read.
The price is very expensive and they only take cash. We were allowed to go back down the trail after we had visited the tower at no extra cost and the kids was on the house because they didn’t have any change.
On the way down we wanted to go another way, but ran in to two barking dogs.
One of the dogs chased us up the stairs and the worker seamed to know about the dogs and scared the dog away, like he had done it before. A scary experience.
The place need an update, which is a shame because it’s such an great contrast to the big city and has a lot of potential.

Precio excesivamente caro por un parque con potencial pero abandonado. Es básicamente un parque que debería ser gratuito. Te cobran 40RM por persona y hay zonas como el herbal garden (Que se ve claramente abandonado). Muy decepcionante y es una pena porque es un pulmón en pleno centro de la ciudad. Si lo vuelven a poner Gratis como era con anterioridad, merecería la pena, así, no.

Natur ist Natur. Das ist so und dementsprechend sollte man den Dschungel auch Dschungel sein lassen.
Aber die Wege und alles drumherum in einem so schlechten Zustand. Tafeln nicht lesbar, dreckig. Teilweise QR Codes zu den Bäumen, und Pflanzen. Es wird also vorausgesetzt, dass man eine Internetverbindung hat.
Außerdem ist der Plan zum Erkunden- gibt es auch nur über QR code - spiegelverkehrt.
Alles furchtbar ungepflegt, geht alles gar nicht.
Kostet 8€ umgerechnet. Ist nicht 5cent wert.

I was there 3 weeks ages and the whole canopy walk was closed and didn’t look like it was going to open any time soon. There is no point in visiting the park if the walk isn’t open as it was fairly rubbish and in a poor state of repair.

Some websites imply 7am-7pm
We got there a little before 5pm and the shop/information centre and tea rooms had all closed (5pm nominal closing time) The security guard said that the grounds closed at 6pm. Sorry, I cannot help with opening times.

Can I do this when it rains? I’ve read some reviews that mentioned it’s inadvisable to do so because of mosquitos and snakes. Please advise. Thanks.

I am not sure about the wildlife, but I would be more concerned about slipping or falling over, especially in heavy rain. Some of the slopes are quite steep.
