Nine fantastic days of diving, eating and relaxing. The total experience was beyond my wildest expectations. Moosa's team delivered first class service in every aspect. With a maximum of 12 divers we were provided with intimate dives, dining and socialization. I honestly cannot think of one thing that would have improved my experience!!!

Awesome Charter/ SAFARI and CREW! Very safe and personal diving adventure with these professionals! MOOSA and ALI are excellent dive professionals/ guides! The staff working on the boats are outstanding and attentive to everyone’s needs. The smiles in the pictures from the SCUBA divers and the staff are genuine and warm!
We highly recommend their services, and also the SCUBA shop DIVE UTAH ( Greg Adams) for arranging such an awesome trip!

Moosa, and Ali, best dive guides, they spotted so many small things. The crew was amazing. They really took care of us above and beyond. The food was amazing with fresh caught fish daily. Spectacular sightings of manta rays and whalesharks. Can not say enough good things about this Liveaboard. It is small and quaint and staff met all our needs. If you are thinking of diving in the Maldives, this is the crew you want. The manthiri was the best.

This is NOT the boat for you if you are a 2 dive/day, then nap and massage kind of a diver. This IS YOUR boat if you want the 1) Best dive guides, Moosa and Ali as well as the 2) best captains. Yes there are two boats; one dive tender and the other is the live aboard. The food has good variety with two proteins at most meals.The staff to diver ratio is practically one-to-one. 12 guests maximum. The main salon has a very masculine feel but is highly functional. They have multiple outlets that are 110 so you do not need a 220 to 110 converter on the boat .They wash your clothes so go minimal but take 3-4 swim suits if you want a dry suit. Nitrox is available.
Concierge Diving -two of my favorites:
1) Whale Shark- I wasn't ready for the drop as they found one right away. The captain circled around and he dropped me 20 feet from the whale shark. Four of us swam 24 minutes with the whale shark. The gym hours paid off as it was a work out for me, not the whale shark.
2) Shark Dives- My favorite was the night dive. The captain placed us perfectly although some were intimidated as we jumped in about 20 feet from three nurse sharks. Reef hooks are essential for the shark dives.
The Guides:
1) The small stuff_ Ask Ali and he will find it for you. There were colorful nudibranchs, tiny tiny fish in the anenomies, cleaner shrimp next to a black eel, soft corals, baby sharks and rays..
2) Head dive Master Moosa- Over 10,000 PADI certified dives in the Maldives. This guy knows his stuff. He chose many spectacular dive sites. In two sites the fish were so abundant, you could not see the reef. We visited two manta cleaning stations where the huge mantas were often a few feet away.
Worth the $$$, Worth the Travel time. WORTH IT, WORTH IT,WORTH IT.
Concierge Diving -two of my favorites:

This is not the best priced live-aboard in the Maldives but it has so many other advantages! The best part is the people who work on the boat; their service is amazing and they are friendly and welcoming!!! Plus, the boat isn’t crowded, only 12 guests make for comfortable living and diving conditions. The food was awesome, yes I gained weight! Plus when the chef learned that my husband isn’t much for vegetables, he would bring him extra portions of meat and potatoes! Such great service!! The boat is older but has a lot of wooden charm. Some of the rooms have odd placed steps, due to the hull shape of the boat so you need to be aware when you get up at night. When choosing a live-aboard in the Maldives, consider more than just price!!!

Moosa, and Ali, best dive guides, they spotted so many small things. The crew of Amed, Ibrihem, Krishan, Dhonbe, Ripon, Farook, Mohamed, & Saif, the best crew. They really took care of us above and beyond. The food was amazing with fresh caught fish daily. The manthiri was the best.

First, I need to say that I am a scuba instructor and have been diving all over the world. Next, I have to say that my trip on the Manthiri was, by far, the best dive trip I have ever been on. Hands down! The boat is designed perfectly for the comfort of guests with a separate dive tender boat for all the scuba gear, compressor, etc. Ali was our dive guide and it would take pages to provide enough kudos to him!!! The rest of the staff members also rocked and made the trip over the top. This was a "bucket list trip" for me but I am already planning another trip with them. In short, if you want to dive the Maldives and go to the best sites (that many others don't know), book a trip on the Manthiri. In the US, go to massdiving.com for your booking.

It is hard to imagine a better diving experience than the Manthiri Maldives Liveaboard. Every diver knows how spectacular diving is in the Maldives, so I need say nothing more. This boat experience is the icing on that cake. the dive guides, Moosa and ali, are incredible - incredibly competent, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, etc. there is a separate dive boat so there is no lugging of gear after the dives; it stays on the dive boat and the tanks are refilled (everyone in my group used Nitrox) by the time of the nexst dive. The liveaboard boat has small but comfortable staterooms (doubles) with private showers and abundant hot water. the main salon is comfortably outfitted and there is a lovely topdeck with shard ore sun. The boat staff is also terrific. I can't give this operation a high enough rating.

The diving was great. The two dive guides, Moosa and Ali were so enthusiastic and so knowledgeable. They spotted things underwater only a trained eye would spot. The boat only accommodates 12 divers in six small cabins. The meals were superb and as another reviewer noted, it was amazing how so much great food came out of such a small kitchen. From the wait staff (including laundry service!) and the excellent assistance on the smaller dive boat, we were all pleased. There are other newer and fancier live aboards, but the Manthiri can't be beat for comfortable and service.

Diving near atolls in Maldives in liveaboard boat is the most beautiful way and place to spend if you like and practice diving!
