I have been here on two different visits to Manila and bought quite a few things each time. I find the pricing frustrating:it seems they deliberately over-inflate the marked price to make you happy with the discount.
Anyhow, there are things that I didn't find anywhere else, like the embroidered fans made of banana and coconut fabrics

We were on a shore excursion from the Viking Sun World Cruise and were led to this place by Dolly our guide. She indicated it was an excellent shop to buy pearls and had an excellent reputation. She also indicated that your would receive a 50% discount at the store.
I found a nice formal shirt that was priced at $130.00 USD at the current exchange rate. I asked the sales girl if the 50% discount applied to this specific item. She confirmed it did. I checked out and presented my Chase Visa Card for payment. When I got back to the ship I checked my account to see that I had been charged $95.00 USD instead of the $65.00 which would have been the correct discounted price.
It was not worth the time or trouble to find a taxi back to the store in busy Manila to complain for $30.00. Just be aware to check your charge receipt when you shop at this place. I failed to do that and I do know better.
I have registered a notice with Viking Cruise Lines that maybe the should let their ground operator know of these deceptive practices by this company.
Maybe Dolly got a commission for bringing her group to this joint???

This place lacks variety or actual range of souvenirs that can be found in manila. Unlike other curio markets I have been 2 there are only a few small stores in this building with a small range of products. They are expensive and I would try some of the more traditional curio stores

While this shop has a wide selection, it has a wide selection of uninteresting products. We had high hopes upon entering, but left with two postcards and a magnet. There were a lot of products there that I didn't need, and didn't feel anyone back home would need either!

Después de Visitar la Plaza de Roma y Catedral caminamos hacia el Fuerte de Santiago y encontramos esta tienda de artesanías que nos vino de "maravilla" pues durante nuestra caminata por Intramuros no habíamos podido localizar una tienda de artesanías de manera que Mananzan Handicrafts "resolvió" nuestro problema y pudimos adquirir magnetos, playeras, postales y algunos collares artesanales.

Mananzan is the perfect stopover if you are in Intramuros. Accessories, shirts, mattresses, home decors? Name it, it's there. The staff are very approachable and accommodating.

While going to Intramurors, stopped in here to shop. Nice selections of various colourful pearl bracelets with a friendly vendors. Prices vary depending upon the size of pearls.

it is located at the junction of gen luna st and Sta Clara St. It is a handicraft and souvenir shop. this is one of the shop if you go on a guided tour. they also offer a discount on the goods. there is an extensive range of souvenirs for you to choose from. Prices are comparatively reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful.

we were taken here by our tour company after we asked about handicrafts. There is an amazing selection, especially for pearl jewelry and locally made products. When we went, we were given a 30% discount on any purchase. The staff are very helpful and willing to chat as they help with selections.
If you want a pineapple or banana fiber handicraft, of good quality, then this is the place to go. There are other places in Intramuros.....we visited here twice, we were so impressed!
