SK displays works by big and small names in the art industry, so there's always something new to discover. They also organize workshops and other activities that everyone would enjoy. The employees and volunteers are very friendly.

Alimall is so lucky to have this kind of art gallery. Even though it’s not that big, it’s full of things that will amaze and inspire you. It’s a great experience. I visited Tinta, Pintura at Kultura by Don Santana. His artworks are so good! What makes it look good is that his artwork is about the indigenous people in the Philippines. It’s like every artwork that is there has a story to tell. People there are also accommodating. Keep it up! Don’t stop inspiring other people.

The Creative works of Don Lumad Santana are really great! His Contemporary works of authentic filipino indigenous portrait has it's warm and earthly colors that depicts of Filipino ethnicity . if you happen to be in Cubao then you must go and drop by on this gallery. The art work connects to the heart and soul of the Philippines. for the aspiring artists or even art enthusiasts Sining Kamalig is indeed a Haven

The Ali Mall takes pride in having this art gallery in their space. Considering the uphill difficulties that filipino artists have in reaching the public, the space does a great service. The show that I viewed had a political edge to it, somewhat reminiscent of the EDSA vs the govt. period. The quality of the art was good. It's too bad the space is not larger, with larger shows, but they seem very engaged and active, as well as connected to vital, working artists in the area. It's worth taking in whatever they are offering and I hope great success to anyone showing there.

Thank you for your review. Art Gallery Sining Kamalig used to be in Gateway in Araneta Center. Although the space was bigger, most artists like the space in Ali Mall better.
Every 3-5 weeks, we change our exhibits, different themes and different artists.

Sining Kamalig adalah galeri lukisan yang berada di Alimall, Cubao, Quezon City, Manila. Galeri ini kecil saja, masuknya gratis. Yang menunggu galeri adalah ibu-ibu bule yang sangat ramah.

It only takes less than 3 minutes to have a look at the Sining Kamalig 's exhibits. Why? Because of its glass windows and door, you get an instant overall look at the whole exhibition without the need to go inside.But if there are certain artworks that really get your attention, that is when you need to get inside and read the information of the art pieces that you love. There is also a corner where you get to buy art materials with brands that are not available in the common art suppliers. The only problem most of the time is ...there is no one there you can assistance.

Thank you for visiting Sining Kamalig. If you are refering to the current exhibition, we are pleased that you enjoyed the current exhibit by Boxless Society, a support group for mentally ill artists and their caregivers. We at Sining Kamalig take great pride in hosting this exhibition as part of our advocacy for mental health awareness and eventually eliminating the shame and stigma that is often associated with mental illness. As they say, Mental Heath = Public Health. As a matter of policy in every exhibition, there is always someone there at the gallery to watch over the artworks. We have an ambassadorship programme where exhibiting artists are obliged to be present and represent the exhibit and answer any questions or receive comments the viewers might have. That way the exhibit becomes more personal for both the artist(s) and the viewer(s), specially in understanding the artworks. We apologise for any inconvenience that you experienced and hope that you will return once again and be inspired by the beauty that the artworks provide.
