“In desperate need of an upgrade ”

很多历史悠久的地区房屋维修或更换需要清理。我在这里长大的地方,和几个破旧的房子里的一个孩子被清理过/修复。但是作为一个孩子现在的生活就很好急需维修或更换工作环境。我觉得这不是一个非常吸引人的地方不是一个好地方天黒。

这家Albany的一个历史景点；不幸的是,这不是维护/更新Montieth District更受欢迎。也就是说 - 有"口袋"在这个地区有非常好的体系结构示例Century很完好。如果Albany ,自己过来,这边也是,不要局限自己的"受欢迎的"边Albany！

I get up in this area

I grew up in two homes in this neighborhood, the first on 11th street then we moved to the corner of 11th and Oak, in a lovely three story home that is still there. Of course, the wide open spaces across Oak isn't full of trees and habitat now. The neighborhood looks very much the same in this established part of Albany. I rive through every now and again just to see how it looks and makes me feel.

In desperate need of an upgrade

Alot of the historic homes in the area need repairs or cleaned up. I grew up in the area, and several of the houses that were rundown as a child have been cleaned/repaired. However the homes that were nice as a child are now in desperate need of repairs or landscape work. I wouldn't consider this an attraction and not a good place to be out after dark.

Needs help

This are of Albany is one of the Historic areas; unfortunately it is not as well kept/updated as the more popular Montieth District. That said - there are "pockets" in this district that have very good examples of turn-of-the century architecture that is well preserved. If traveling to Albany, do yourself and come over to this side of town also, don't limit yourself to the "popular" side of Albany!

Ugly District

This distruct is the poorest area of Albany, and the housing in the area reflects that. The city has done nothing to help residents preserve it, and the streets in the area are poorly maintained.
