Lots of space for your dog to run and play. The play area is totally fenced in with large open field and smaller shaded area with big trees. Water available except in winter. No seating.

Fine, clan and funny place, you can go here with your dog, so it can play with other dogs and if you want to see a war memorial and a lovely pond where you can catch a trout you only have to walk 5 minuets

There was a large dog and small dog fenced area. Yes their was mud but what should you expect. But a nice pond if your dog swims to rinse off

We had been traveling in our RV for almost 2 weeks and I was looking forward to letting our 3 little dogs run a little. They do have a large dog area and a small dog area and a dog run. The only problem was that it had been raining and the entrance area of all the areas was flooded. They need to regrade this so even if there is standing water you can at least get in. My dogs would not have minded a little water. I just didn't want to have to wade through it to get in.

Two Large fenced areas, one for large breads and the other for small breads.
They are mostly grassed with large shade trees next to large pond. Beautiful views. Great walking trails with in the park next to the dog park.
For your convenience they have a dog-washing station.
It could use more, or larger buckets for water. It was busy both days we went. On average 7-15 dogs, during mid-day when we were there. Only one bowl in each pin. More dogs needed to drink at once. It is hard for more than one dog with larger breeds to drink from one small bowl.
People and pets were mostly sociable. In conversations, people mostly enjoyed the dog park. The main complaint was, the large reoccuring mud hole in large breed area.
We really enjoyed chatting with everyone and learning about the life of most of the dogs and the breeds.
We travel often and have been to multiple dog parks all over the mid-west and west coast.
My recommendations, would be a small kiddy pool for dogs to drink out of at least in summer months.
All-in-all we enjoyed our time and so did our pup. He loved meeting new friends.

Such a great spot for pups! Benches available. Water also available for your 4 legged friends. No issues with fleas after our visit! Running area for the fast running pups!

This is the ugliest park for a dog that I have ever seen. It really needs some TLC put into it. We were diappointed.

The albany dog park is a place for your furry kids to run unleashed and meet other dogs. There is water on The premises in each of the three fenced areas. One area is for large dogs , one area is for small dogs and the last is for only two dogs at a time who can play or train here.

This park is very well planned. Separate space for large or small dogs, even a place for the not too social ones. Double entry to prevent an unplanned escape. A little short on shade in the summer, and muddy during the rainy season. But you can wash off muddy paws before getting back in the car. Friendly people in the small dog section. Everyone cleans up after their dogs. (bags provided)
