We spent a very happy hour or so here. They have some unusual wines (white Tempranillo, for example) and some familiar ones, all of which are well crafted. Oops. A bunch of their bottles ended up in our car for the ride home! :)

We enjoyed our visit to the winery. The staff was helpful. When they didn’t have quite what we were looking for, they directed us to other places that might be a better fit.

This is a lovely winery that is as delicious for the palate as it is a feast for the eyes. My family have been here a few times & it was our first but not our last. The fact that the location was beyond ideal for this trip was a must. We highly recommend it!

I have lived around Ashland for over forty years. This is the quintessential experience, and it brings a family together for food and wine that is delectable and healthy. The grounds have soul, and vibe and spirit.

My Mom and I spent four full days in Ashland, mostly for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. But we took an afternoon to explore the area a bit and stopped at a couple wineries for tastings. Grizzly Peak was a wonderful setting with really, really good wine and a very friendly host (Naomi) taking care of us. It was a real highlight of our trip.

Wine tasting here is very nice. The setting of the winery is beautiful and the wine is very good. If you like wine try it out.

Perfect in every way. Light oak aromas. Very palatable. No lingering after taste. Goes great with pita bread and Tillamook Sharp Chedder. An Excellent Blend of smooth flavors. a MUST if you like red wines and are in the Great Northwest. World Class.

Thank you so much for taking the time from your busy day to review our 2012 Rogue Rouge - We are delighted that you enjoyed our Bordeaux blend, and we hope you'll come back to try other wines as well. Keep an eye out for our 2013 Rogue Rouge which will be released in the latter half of 2017 - it's excellent!

Nothing fancy about the place but the wines were really good. We only drink reds so had 4 tasters & all were good.
Entertainment is offered periodically & the grounds are shady on the hot summer afternoons. This winery is included on the "passport" to visit numerous wineries at a greatly discounted price.

Over the years we have hosted many public and private events including weddings, college and city sponsored functions, community theater productions, and musical events. We are as you say, not "fancy," but we strive to create a space that is welcoming to all who visit. We hope that you felt welcome as well.

Located just minutes from downtown Ashland, Oregon, this winery's outside setting didn't intrigue us enough to stop and stay. A majestic wrought iron entry gate "beckoned" us into the grounds of the winery, driving along a beautifully tree-lined roadway up to the buildings. It was lovely to peacefully meander onto the winery premises with its lush greenery, winding driveway, and pretty vegetation. On either side of the premise's road, there were two outdoor wine spots with very few wine patrons at the outdoor tables, which was confusing to us. Too separate tasting rooms? A second outdoor porch add-on? We drove up farther and then made the circle-back drive, down to the two main buildings again and on out the driveway to the main road. What's the expression~ "you can't judge a book by its cover"? but we did.. Nothing exterior-wise interested us to stay and ascertain the attraction of the site or its wines.

We wish you'd also taken the time to come in and sample some of our award wining wines, and to learn more about our history, and our establishment. We would have loved to tell you about our expansion, and explain our space and vision to you. Our winery is also our home - it is a place we are proud of and would have enjoyed sharing with you. It is unfortunate that you did not find our "cover" interesting, but, I guarantee that had you taken the time, you'd have discovered that our story (and our wine) is indeed a juicy page turner.
