This was a wonderful experience especially for a scaredy cat like me! I was nervous about doing it as I am not good with heights but I felt completely safe with the highly confident and competent crew. The views were fantastic and the pilot (Raphie) was happy to answer any my questions about ballooning and to point out places of interest during the flight. The take off and landing were smoother than anything I have experienced in a plane. I highly recommend Portland Rose Hot Air Balloons. If you have a special birthday/anniversary coming up this would be a perfect present.

Such a great group of people. They gave a great flight and were so kind. They went above and beyond to help us get on a flight. I highly recommend Portland Rose Hot Air Balloons if you are wanting a hot air balloon experience.

The whole experience was absolutely amazing. These guys - all the crew as well as the owners, Derek and Chris really love what they do. They take safety very seriously but in such a gentle way that simply invites you to be part of the whole experience.
This was one of the adventures we had in our Bucket list and we are happy we chose Portland Rose Balloons.

We flew with the team on a Sunday morning and absolutely loved the experience. Of course, first time being in a balloon was exciting but the Pilot, Chris, was a blast. I was so curious to everything going on and he was engaged trying to answer all my questions. He made the flight amazing. Afterwards we all had a champagne toast and heard a quick history on ballooning. They really make the experience enjoyable and are a fun crowd to be around. We will absolutely be back. It’s a great family run business, and very professional.

I enjoyed the whole experience. Watching the balloons inflate, floating over the earth, as well as helping to put the deflated balloon away. Informative and pleasant experience. Really fun.

We did a private flight with our family of four and pilot Chris. I am personally not a big fan of heights so I was surprised at how calm and relaxing it was! My family had an amazing time and Chris was a pleasure to talk to, and a wealth of information. All of the crew that we spoke to and interacted with were professional, friendly and very attentive. We highly recommend Portland Rose Hot Air Balloons!! And we would fly with them again!!

This was a bucket list item and I'll remember it for the rest of my life. We (my teenage grandkids were along for the ride) had a blast seeing everything from this new perspective - including the helicopter that flew by.
Chris was our pilot and he was fabulous: professional, funny, informative, calm, helpful, brilliant. The crew was so nice too. The experience WAY exceeded my expectations. I'd go up again in a heartbeat.
