I received the best massage from Beatrice Guerra at The Retreat. She listened to me and was very professional. My back and neck were very tight and she worked out the problem areas. I will be scheduling another visit.

I have been going to see Jeremiah Hanson at The Retreat for the past 2 years. I stay on his books!
He has been very knowledgeable with his muscle releasing techniques, fascial release and very delicate yet strong pressure point fingers.
Absolutely my go too! I send all my clients in the fitness industry to him and everyone has always came back super satisfied.
Not only does he stay up on the latest continuing education, he is the most respectful, soft spoken, courteous and genuine human ever.
Communication is key and he's always been willing to help me troubleshoot problems in my physical being.
Great conversationalist if you like to talk and quiet if you don't.
He's definitely the best bar none!

Jeremiah is a great massage therapist he really knows how to get the knots worked out. He personalized the massage just for me it made me feel so relaxed and really needed the massage as I have several medical issues since starting Getting the massage it Has really helped

I booked an hour and half massage with Beatrice (817-812-4316). I will say this up front. Best massage I've had in a long time. She was nice, very professional and very thorough. I've only experienced one other person who could compare with Beatrice. If you are feeling stressed or have aches and pains like myself, give Beatrice a call.

Beatrice Is an exceptional Therapist & well sought after.
Unfortunately, last Friday was her last day @The Retreat as she unexpectedly decided to spread her wings & hands elsewhere.
Keep her # handy for repeat service.

Over the last 20 years, I have probably received over 100 massages. Even though I am a member of a monthly massage service, my husband bought me a 60mn massage through The Retreat in Athens, TX. Upon scheduling through text, I was placed with Jeremiah. I typically enjoy firm massages and do not suffer from any chronic pains. I shared with him before he started that I was just there to relax. I was so impressed with his ability to feel his way through my neck, shoulders, back and feet to identify and work through areas he could feel needed attention. He really reached places other therapist haven’t been able to. He checked in on my comfort and shared when he found an area of concern. I left the appointment not only feeling great but also well informed. Booked a 99mn follow up with him in 3 weeks! Great job Jeremiah!! I appreciate you!

We were Spring Breaking on Cedar Creek Lake and I really wanted a massage. Found this place and it had great reviews. My MIL and I were treated to an hour each of pure relaxation. I was tied up in knots and Beatrice worked them all out. Chantal was such a great promoter of all things Athens, giving us ideas for lunch and shopping. Will be back for sure if we stay on CCR again!

My husband and I received a couples massage. It was by far one of the best massages I have ever had! Chantal and Jeremiah were so great. Highly recommend if you’re a local or just passing through! Such a relaxing place to be.

We were gifted massages for Christmas and set up our appointments. Wife works at the school and found out she was in direct COVID exposure, along with mom. Had to cancel last minute due to this and this company refuses to allow a rebooking and has voided the certificates! Now they are refusing to refund my mother, who is disabled and on a fixed income due to "fine print" about 24 hr cancelations! Profits over people, zero understanding as Henderson county is back in COVID danger zone. This is unacceptable and unprofessional by any standards of conducting business. I will be sure that this review is not the last step that is taken either, as this organization and its owners need to be held accountable in trying times to have a little more compassion and to not treat people this way.

Chantel was amazing. I walked in hurting all over. I have a very physical job and my muscles were tight. She took her time and went above my expectations of what a message would do for me. She worked out all the pain out. Would highly recommend her.

Thanks for making time to share about your beneficial "Massage Experience".
With 31 years of "Massage Experience" literally under my belt, it only takes a few seconds to notice the pain that people are actually living with.
Such was your situation, I'm glad that you took positive steps to help resolve the pain issues you were living with.
In receiving your Massage Treatment, I pray you noticed that it was more of a "Therapeutically Progressive" Relief. Starting "Slow & Easy" & Eventuality working up to "Deeper & Firmer".
Achieving "Working all the pain out" is typically our "Primary Goal". Our "Secondary Goal" is to also make sure it was completely "Enjoyable" & "Stress Relieving".
Thank you so very much for "Highly Recommending" "Our Little Spa" in Athens...Texas!!!

Wonderful people and great massage. My husband purchased my daughter and I full body massages for one hour Christmas 2019...then Covid hit and we were unable to use this purchase. I called this June 2021 and Chantal honored our certificates!!!
Not only did she honor our purchase , she also worked it out where my daughter, a friend and I could all get our massages at the same time!!! I know she had to work this out with multiple schedule changes and she did it. We were very appreciative.
The massages were wonderful and relaxing. Each of our masseuses talked with us individually prior to our massage for any special requests or needs. I would highly recommend The Retreat Massage and Day Spa in Athens, TX.
Not only did she honor our purchase , she also worked it out where my daughter, a friend and I could all get our massages at the same time!!! I know she had to work this out with multiple schedule changes and she did it. We were very appreciative.
