I Went to the spa for a polish change..No pedicure..No Cut Down..Just polish for my feet only...They charged $26.00 because I was a tourist..Horrible..I spoke with manager ..She did not reply..They are all in on the con..A pedicure is $30..How can you charge $26 for polish on feet..No prices are listed..Adk for your total before they begin or get scammed!!

I’m sorry to hear that you did not love your experience in our spa. I am wondering if you have the right spa, as we do not have any pedicure service at the price you mentioned? We certainly do not offer local versus non-local customer pricing. Our polish change is $15 and signature pedicure is $45. I took my daughter there for her 17th birthday, which I mentioned at booking. We had three services with the last being a message. We we surprised that her therapist was a man. I switched with her ofcourse. They offered to reschedule for me for another day. But, what would have been the point. There were other minor miscommunications, which were an annoyance. The relaxation area was tiny. My daughter said she felt rushed. However, I will consider going again to see if it was just an off day.

I came here because I got a gift card from a friend. I love coming to spas and had a facial and massage here. Both were...ok. The facial was too much for my skin as it is sensitive and the massage was not relaxing enough for me. I doubt I will come back here or refer it to any of my friends/family either. There are tons of spa in Norther Virginia.

Customer appreciation does not go both ways at this spa! I have been a loyal customer since this spa opened 15 years ago when the owner used to do my treatments. My daughter and I have gone regularly to get couples facials. Every time I go I am promised a 10% discount if I book at the time of service, which I always do. I recently had to change my pre-scheduled appointment for a medical reason and was told that after our service that I wouldn't get the 10% because I had changed my appointment. Are you kidding me? I spent $400 there when I could go anywhere else and was told by a flippant receptionist that I would not get the discount. Gee thanks! So much for customer appreciation but appreciation goes both ways,. I'll take my business elsewhere. And on top of that, I left a message for the owner who never even bothered to call me back. There are plenty of other spas out there who know how to appreciate loyal customers!

Our pre-booking policy is in place to protect our therapists’ time. We certainly understand that client’s schedules may change, but changes made on short notice often don’t allow us enough time to re-book the timeslot for our therapists — meaning they lose income. I've been here many times over 7 years and while Amenity isn't perfect they always deliver consistent services. It's relaxing and offers an awesome monthly program for massage and facial for a great price. My only issue (which has been resolved) was in regards to tipping using a gift card. We had a few debacles and now it looks like you can tip when using your gift card which was the case before but I had an issue 3 times in a row which required a call to the manager. The staff sometimes doesn't get the process right during checkout but are always nice, friendly and obviously try hard to make the guest leave happy. Overall excellent experience from the non front desk team and I will continue to book services.

I went here for a massage and even though the location was in an office building type area, the inside of the facility was very nice. the relaxation room is small but sufficient. Upon arrival I was greeted and taken to the back to get a locker and offered a beverage, wine, soda, water etc. I went with a red wine. Once I was dressed in my robe and got back to the relaxation room to finish up the paper work I was immediately taken back for my massage. I still had some time before my appointment time, and didn't get to have a sip of wine. that was not an issue at all though. I would rather be early than waiting around for an appointment. the wine was there for me when I returned and I enjoyed it post-massage. The massage was great. I would not say the best I have ever had but very relaxing and focused on my "problem areas" I think I even fell asleep near the end it was so relaxing. All in all a good experience and I would go back. enjoy!

I have been to Amenity several times, and always receive a great treatment. This time, I was greeted with a glass of mimosa (it was earlier in the morning!) which was lovely and was able to sit in the relaxation area and enjoy that. I know the relaxation area is small, and just upright seats; but you are never there for very long! My therapist was great and gave me an excellent facial, with wonderful massaging of the extremities as well.
I left feeling relaxed and refreshed.
The only negative was the receptionist, whom I felt let the place down. Maybe she is new? Being trained?

I have been to Amenity for a few appointments over the past several months. The relaxation space is nice, not very big, but comfortable. They offer you a choice of drinks and there are cereal bars and cookies for snacking.
The changing room can cause traffic jams although I appreciate the fact that the lockers actually lock. The robes could be a little bit larger as I am not overly comfortable flashing when I walk into the relaxation area.
The spa is very clean. I have been to several of the areas including the rest rooms and they are always spotless.
Do not be surprised if when booking your appointment you are asked to provide credit card information. I understand the purpose behind in case you don't show up and they can charge you a fee. It did not stop me from making an appointment as it was not the only place that has requested this information in advance.
I have had electrolysis with Mandy - she is excellent. Her area is clean and she is completely knowledgeable of the equipment. She is friendly and kind.
I had a facial today with Reed. I asked for the basic 60 minute facial as I was just not sure of the other choices. OMG is all I can say! My skin feels fantastic and Reed is a master in her field. She checked my skin and made some suggestions, but I truly appreciate the fact that she never tried to sell me any products. I have been to other places where I felt like it was truly a sales job. I also love the fact that during this 60 minutes, I also had my feet, legs and arms massaged. WOW!
I will definitely be back to try some of the other services.

I went here yesterday for the first time. I was given a gift certificate several months ago and finally decided to use it. I walked a half marathon on Sunday and had arranged in advance to recover with a hot stone massage. It was wonderful, Elizabeth was the massage therapist and she is well trained and has good experience...yes I had to ask a few questions to start.
The spa itself is lovely and relaxing. The quiet room is very comfortable and I love the personal attention of receiving a nice beverage and the warmth of the colors and fireplace. The dressing room is nice with lockers and candles burning.
I also met with the esthetician Mandy for a consult before I left for possible future visits.
Everyone on the staff was very nice and welcoming.
My only complaint was there were hvac people there that were wondering around, talking loudly and knocking on doors. It was a little disruptive as they were cleaning vents or something. This type of work should be done before or after hours.
There are so many services here that look interesting to try....I will more than likely go back after the first of the year when I'm back in town.
