Vanhin ja luotettavin vesitie Sarandasta Korfulle. Liikennöintitiheys vaihtelee sesongin mukaan. Varmista aina lähtösi netistä, ja mahdollisuuksien mukaan paikallistoimistosta. Huomas, että Korfun toimisto sijaitsee n. 300 metriä satamasta kaupunkiin päin. Satamasta ei voi enää ostaa lippuja !!

Цена в офисе (их есть два рядом с терминалом порта Саранды) дешевле, чем на сайте. (В сентябре 2021 была 15 евро с человека в одну сторону)
Персонал помогает заполнить форму на сайте Греческого правительства (без нее на борт не пустят), консультирует относительно Ковид-ограничений.
Для 30-минутной поездки вполне комфортно.

went to Albania for a couple of days and used the ferry from Corfu port,very good service,no problems and no hanging around

Nell'imbarco a Corfù verso Saranda hanno tenuto il gruppo di persone che doveva imbarcarsi per circa 20 minuti sotto il sole cocente dell'ora di punta. Il motivo ? hanno anticipato l'uscita dal locale rispetto all'arrivo del traghetto. Inconcepibile.

We booked a trip to Albania through a local agent in Roda. It was in €10 return (included the cost of coach travel to Corfu Town) and then €10 port tax.
This was significantly cheaper than any other fares.

I had the opportunity to travel with Ionian Seaways on a day return excursion from Corfu to Saranda which I had booked in advance form Book 4it.
The boats used by this company are quite old Russian constructions called "dolphin" so you shouldn't expect much comfort or perfection of details. However, they are safe, fast and the interior is quite roomy. Even the toilet was clean but old and situated at the back of the boat what wasn't very convenient.
As it comest to the cruise itself, the border control procedures were done fast and without unnecessary time wasting, but on the contrary the procedures on the boat lasted so long that our trip had an hour delay.
There was only one staff woman who was checking our bookings, collecting 10 euro port tax, selling extra excursions, checking passports and handwriting our data! To make matter worse she tried to persuade us that we were obliged to pay 23 euro extra for an excursion (what was optional). This was because except regular daily cruises the company sells Albania Tours that can be booked in some of local tourist offices in Korfu, or directly in the company for the same price (as it was offered to me).
When we arrived to Saranda those returning the same day were given plastic cards to be shown on re-boarding. However, nobody explained us we would not be
obliged to go through passport control if we were coming back the same day.
To sum up, the whole cruise could have lasted shorter in time, if the staff were better organized. The sailing itself lasted shortly and was safe despite how the boat looked like.
At the end, remember Thai of You are EU country, Lichtenstein or Switzerland citizen You don't need a passport to bore Albania, just ID card. In other cases You need it!

Después de pasar por la terminal a realizar todos los controles de seguridad y pasaporte, nos tienen en la calle a la espera de la llegada del barco junto con otros viajeros de otros barcos sin información clara. El barco finalmente sale con más de 1hora de retraso. Lo mejor estaba por empezar, con el calor que hacia dentro y las condiciones del mar, más de la mitad del barco termina mareado, con vomitos, niños desfayecidos, y una atención por parte de la tripulación pésima.

Funny experience with James Bond style ferries towards Sarande in Albania.. Fast transit only half hour from Kerkyra. No online payments possible... only bookings.
