Nice place to take pictures in the late afternoon! The olive trees give a romantic atmosphere to the square that has a chafariz and coreto... has a place for pets and can do photographic rehearsals cono saw a lot of gebte doing... is surrounded by museums and cultural rooms

Currently the square is well ⁇ ined and clean. I had a very quiet afternoon during the week to enjoy the walk through the square. Just infelizmnete as in every city, has the sellers of some things that always approach you, but otherwise I really ⁇ visiting the place and enjoy the afternoon admiring the place.

The Freedom Square is a real postcard of Belo Horizonte! The architecture of the historic buildings, the impeccable gardens and the cultural atmosphere make this place one of my favourites in the city. It is perfect for a quiet walk, whether to enjoy the beauty of the square or to visit one of the many museums and cultural centers of the region.

Beautiful square in Belo Horizonte, with imposing palm trees. I loved the “coreto” that reminded me of my childhood. There are people walking all the time. I thought it safe.

The square is very good. There are vendors of coconut, water and sweet cotton. Many residents of Belo Horizonte run, walk, cycling and skateboarding, picnics and etc. Suitable activities for tourists are walking, taking photos and doing whatever you want.

Book a day to explore the Freedom Square complex. It's a square surrounded by history. The square is beautiful with a central alameda, coreto and surrounded by museums, memorials that must be visited one by one. I highlight the Museum of Freedom. It's worth seeing. Safe place. In the late afternoon I noticed several families walking, children playing, people taking their pets for a walk.

Olá, o acesso é FREE! Não tem de pagar nada para entrar. Lugar bonito, aprazível......... terá de pagar apenas o picolé ou a pipoca que, por acaso, for consumir rs.

BH is just like Rome regarding crime. (Yes, I got robbed in Rome). Lots of pick pocketers.Do not wear gold chains/necklaces because it’s like a magnet for petty thieves. Be aware of that and you will be fine.

Sim, dá para ir a pé até o Mercado Central, você vai descer a avenida Bias Fortes, sete quarteirões, entrar na rua Curitiba e descer mais 2 quarteirões, ai sim chega no Mercado Central, dá para fazer o caminho com calma e gastar uns 15 minutos.

Sinceramente não percebi se existe coleta seletiva. Apesar de que em BH você vê sempre coletores de resíduos nas ruas, sobretudo ao entardecer, por isso é uma cidade extremamente agradável e limpa.
