My sister and I recently did a cooking class with Roberto and it was honestly such a wonderful experience!!! He was super knowledgeable of all the dishes we cooked and provided step by step instructions while also sharing the history and background of each dish. I also liked the fact that he took the time out to educate us on the correct names and pronunciations as some of it were new to us at the time. It was our first cooking class and it did not disappoint.

Chef Alex was engaging and made the class so fun! Good for all cooking experiences. And the all you can drink caipirahna was a plus!

Roberto took such good care of us. We really enjoyed seeing the supermarket and getting tips on what the right thing to buy might be to bring home with us. Then the meal prepared together was delicious from start to finish. Roberto. Tata says he went along, and we even learned a couple of Portuguese words.would highly recommend this for anyone traveling to Rio.

10/10 Ricardo is an amazing chef, the supermarket tour was great, the class was even better. We learned how to prepare 9 different Brazilian dishes, and learned a lot about other ones.

Highly recommend Cook in Rio for any foodies that come to Rio. From being met at the supermarket by our chef Carina and her showing us products that we have never heard about we were captivated right from the start. Back to the studio where we made typical Brazilian dishes. There wasn’t a lot of hands on work that we did but we appreciated Carina’s excellent English and her lovely personality. Overall a really enjoyable and delicious experience.

Super welcoming chef and amazing meal! Would recommend coming hungry as you make a lot of different dishes and sides. 10/10 experience for any traveler to Rio!

Hello. We are a family of five that would like to do the class. One of our daughters, however, is celiac. So she is allergic to gluten. We are wondering if she would still be able to participate in that are most of the things gluten-free. She would simply not cook or eat the things that contain gluten. Can you please advise? We would like to do the class tomorrow…
