Fantastic tour with Juliana

We joined this fantastic tour with Juliana in a very small group of 4. The tour was our first impression of Rio after arriving there by cruise ship. Juliana gave us a perfect overview and led us to the best hidden places. She introduced us to the local food, drinks and bars and decorated them with interesting facts of history, culture and “normal live” of Rio. She was a perfect guide and for us found the right balance between taste and knowledge and walk and rest. Unfortunately we had rain all the time of the tour but Juliana let the sun back in our hearts with her lovely tour. Thanks a lot!

Escalera de Selaron...vida y arte.

La vida nos lleva a lugares inimaginables. Nacemos y morimos, pero la muerte nunca sabremos dónde. Dejamos huellas donde menos pensamos y esa es la fascinante historia de las Escaleras de Selaron. Selaron, Chileno que decidió dedicar parte de su vida y obra a estas escaleras, en el Corazón del legendario reparto de Santa Teresa, en Río de Janeiro, dejó su impronta allí, y hoy es conocido por su obra que es visitada a diario por miles de miles. Escalarla es como caminar al lado de este gran artista. Escudriñar en cada uno de sus azulejos es como descubrir una nueva historia, una nueva vida, un nuevo atardecer. Sus colores y variedades de azulejos la caracterizan.
Tu puedes ser uno de esos miles de miles, y descubre tu propia sensación subiendo sus peldaños.

They made this our best day in Rio!

Full Day tours are usually hit or miss but I'm so glad we ended up choosing this one. They offered collection from our hotel which was really convenient, the van was super comfortable and air conditioned which was a welcome relief for the extreme heat of Rio.

The most wonderful thing about the day was our guide Mariana who was so knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about ensuring we all had a good day...the history she had about all the sites was impressive. We went during the Carnival season which was the busiest time of the year and it was Mariana's 11th day in a row, yet she brought the same level of enthusiasm as I would imagine her doing her first.

The sites are absolutely fantastic with Christ The Redeemer, Lapa steps and Sugarloaf Mountain being the crown jewels of our experiences, but the whole day was fantastic. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Really made this our best day in Rio!

Conhecer Santa Tereza

A experiência foi muito boa. Somos brasileiros e já conhecíamos o Rio de Janeiro, mas resolvemos fazer esta visita com guia local e valeu a pena.
A guia Lorena foi excelente, fez a diferença.
Ela é muito educada, competente e simpática!

Fiesta de fin de año en Copacabana

Un expectaculo formidable pasar el 31 a la noche en la Paya de Copacabana y bridar alli a las 12 para esperar el nievo año 2020, un mundo de gente pero todo muy controlado. Imperdible.

One of the Best Tours I've Done!

Julianna (JuJu) brought enormous energy and passion to our tour as our guide. As a local, she had great insight re the local hot spots and had crafted an excellent blend of the big sights, local cuisine and history. I had a fantastic day seeing JC, Santa Teresa steps, the ruins, Little Africa and sampling the dough balls, acai and chocolate. Got some great favala shots and saw the local street art along the way. I highly recommend this tour. #GuideJu #LocalsKnow #BestDayEver #RioUrbanAdventures

Wonderful tour!

Juliana was our local guide, and what a guide! Her energy, knowledge and passion made this tour extremely enjoyable. The day tour was a great way to see the main sights of Rio. Juliana was more that happy to provide recommendations for us, and she took some rest photos for us! Would highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful experience

It was a wonderful experience. Crossing the border is smooth and you won't get caught in traffic. She was a polite and knowledgeable guide. I took a boat ride and requested to see the lower trail. She responded flexibly to my request.

Se tiver tempo sobrando não deixe de ir

Embora conhecidos, é um bom ponto turístico, mas daqueles que só olhamos e tiramos foto (escadaria), não há o que fazer lá.
Quanto ao passeio no bondinho é muito bom, além de ser para turistas é transporte dos moradores, só não achei melhor porque não tem opção de descer e passear e voltar e tal. Quer dizer até tem, mas precisa comprar mais bilhetes e cuidar o último bonde que sai perto de 18h. Quem chega ao final da linha nem desce para voltar só viram os bancos e vamos embora. Podia ter barzinhos e outros atrativos, sei lá ... mas o ponto final tbm é em uma área pacificada então não sei como seria isso.

muy buena onda la guia, el paseo se hizo lento por que lo efectuamos dia 30 de diciembre
pero al final una hermosa experiencia la visita al cristo y pan de azucar y demases
