This is a truly wonderful city... Safe and clean... In 7 days of vacation, I visited several beaches and couldn't see any police cars on the streets. Very safe city... Polite people. In summer, it is the best beach destination in Brazil. Hot water, the same as in Natal RN, however, extremely clean. GRADE 10

We stayed in Costa Norte on this beach.
Personally, I like this beach for its tranquility, the color of the water, the rocky hill and the incredible sunsets in the sea.
In addition, you can take advantage of walking from there to Cacoheira and Canasvieras in a highly recommended walk (even for every day if you like to walk between an hour and an hour and a half).
The paradores are good (a little slow in high season).
What you may not like so much is the infrastructure of the area. It is a very fishing village with little offer of anything. That's why it was worth it to be in Costa Norte with breakfast and dinner included.

I believe it is one of the best beaches in Floripa. It's at the tip of the island. The waters are shallow, so it is possible to walk 300, 400 meters into the sea. There are no waves. It is ideal for children, as they can play without problems. The problem is the traffic on the way back, my God. The ideal is to arrive early, around 9am and leave early, around 3pm so you don't get caught in traffic. Otherwise, it's better to stay until 8pm to beat the traffic. Everything is at a standstill and there are no other options.

Beautiful beach, with few waves and a large waist-high stretch of water, ideal for families with children. The beach has two bars with great service, but the portions were small and it was more expensive than other beaches we visited in Florianópolis.

Beautiful and clean beach. Calm sea, perfect for those with children or who don't like rough seas. Restaurants and bakery nearby. There is also a kiosk. Good beach even for those who practice some type of sport like running or walking.

La playa es hermosa, fuimos en mayo de 2023, temporada baja, no hay ruido, gente ni vendedores. Tranquilidad absoluta. Nos hospedamos en el Costa Norte y la playa está muy a mano. Hay muchos bares de pescadores artesanales y se ven frente a la playa los barcos de excursión Perla Negra que quedan anclados. Hacia el norte la playa termina en un morro, muy pintoresco, hay piedras enormes y se pueden hacer muy lindas fotos. El mar es tranquilo, solo con excesivo viento puede haber alguna ola. El color del agua es verde transparente típico del sur de Brasil. La temperatura del agua dependerá de la época, en mayo es fría. Los meses de diciembre a marzo el agua es más cálida según información de lugareños. En fin recomiendo esta playa para visitar en familia.

Pensa numa praia linda e sossegada, colorida com tantos barqueiros ancorados. Fica no extremo norte da ilha, maravilhosa. Tem restaurantes deliciosos para você degustar peixes frescos e frutos do mar.

Linda playa, agua tranquila. Accedimos caminando desde canasvieras, una caminata muy recomendada, la duración es de 1 hs y media aprox. Si no quieren ir caminando, pueden utilizar otros medios. No hay tanta gente, si hay barcitos para comprar.

Los meses de Enero y Febrero son temporada alta, con mucha gente en la playa, de todos modos hay muchas playas cerca que se pueden visitar en auto.
