Excellent hike with Denis, a very informed and passionate guide - an opportunity to learn about native and imported ecology whilst enjoying fresh air and breathtaking scenery; particularly recommended for nature lovers however equally enjoyable for city slickers.

I had one day with a work colleague to visit Sao Paulo. We chose this nature hike instead of touring the city to see and experience what the original land was like. One of the trees in the forest was definitely there before the Portuguese arrived.
The nature hike was pleasant and informative, a great way to spend a few hours. It was the dry season (early August), so less water in the waterfalls and less dense vegetation compared to the rainy season.
We went on the shorter hike. It was still closer to 3 miles in total. The trail can be midly challenging on your footing with roots and slipper rocks.

My wife and I booked the 8 hour tour and it was worth every penny! Luis was not just a knowledgeable tour guide, but rather our dear friend by the end of the day. Luis was able to tailor the tours to our liking, spot a variety of exotic plants and animals, and also entertain us with a plethora of stories. We wish we could have all of our tours with Luis!!!! If we could, we would rate 10 Stars!!

Recently did the Sao Roque winery and distillery tour with Denis. He's an excellent guide with very good English and extremely friendly. I had a fantastic day visiting a number of wineries and a distillery. The highlights certainly were the distillery where they have lovely whiskey and cachaca. Staff there are extremely friendly and helpful. The other highlight certainly was the Quinta do Olivardo winery and the way they cellar their wines buried 1.5m underground. Wines were lovely and smooth and the restaurant here simply has the best Bolinhos de Bacalhau. Restaurant staff extremely friendly and many speak English. Rodrigo have us an excellent tour of the Cave Vinhos dos Mortos. All wineries visited certainly are well structured for visitors who mainly arrive on the weekends. If you go on a weekday expect services to be reduced. I've used Denis' services on at least 4 occasions and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him as a guide for any tour in Sao Paulo - he is more than willing to tailor it to your needs.

This day trip started in Sao Paulo from where we were brought to to this wonderful island called Islabelha. There, we took E-Bikes to explore the north of the Island. We went by and could enjoy marvellous beaches and our wonderful tour guide Dennis made sure that we had a great time :)
Wouldn’t want to miss this experience!

We had the most amazing coffee plantation tour with Denis.
He met us (a group of 5 adults) at our accommodation at the agreed time. He is super friendly and fluent in English, which we found very helpful, because none of us spoke any Portuguese. Denis was very knowledgeable on all the questions we had about São Paulo and Brazil in general.
The Cana Verde coffee farm is a working farm, this really ads to the charm of the whole experience.
Our horseback ride was amazing, and besides the great coffee plantations that we saw, we had spectacular vistas all the way along our ride, spotting a few water buffalo along the way too.
The lunch was very traditional and very good. The coffee bean processing walk was very informative and enjoying some of the same coffee afterwards a definite added bonus.
I will recommend a coffee plantation tour with Denis any day!

This was a very unique ecotour within the city limits. Hard to beat! Denis is very knowledgable and super friendly. It was such an education learning about the different types of flora and fauna in the park. We saw 3 different waterfalls--such great photo opportunities! I did come across a snake but no monkeys sadly. Denis shared a lot details about the Brazilian culture and I walked away learning so much. He also has tons of recommendations for various restaurants and attractions in the area! He takes great care to ensure you are comfortable throughout the tour. He even brought some water and snacks which I didn't even think to bring. I highly recommend Denis and this ecotour!

Dennis was so great, he was full of knowledge and very nice!! I would recommend this tour if you are looking for something out of a city setting. I was nervous about the horse back ride, but it was only 90 minutes and it is the only way to see the coffee plants. My mom got on the horse but felt uncomfortable about riding and she had no problem staying back by the pool a d relaxing while our group was gone. She even had a caipirinha! The food was delicious and traditional. The coffee and tour were fabulous! I would recommend having an outfit to ride the horse in and then bring a change of clothes. They have a nice facility. You can leave your bags in the car. Make sure you have cash to buy coffee to bring back also waters as it was warm. This really is a must do tour with a wonderful guide!!

Dennis did a great job showing us Cana Verde coffee plantation. He picked us up where we were staying in Sao Paulo and brought us back, answering questions about Brazil some others have not known the answers to. It is around a two hour drive each way. The plantation people were very nice. They gave us a feast for lunch. The horseback ride was one of the best we have been on. Beautiful views. It is also a popular site for polo.
