Jolie petite église à visiter!

Probablement la plus grande église de la vieille ville mais aussi la plus colorée. S'il n'en fallait faire qu'une je dirai de faire celle-là. Profitez du ticket couplé (églises et musée de la ville) même si pour le moment il y a 2 églises fermées

Największy i najładniejszy

Punkt obowiązkowy - największy i najlepiej zachowany przykład architektury z XVI wieku w Nessebarze. Niektóre kościoły można podziwiać tylko z zewnątrz, natomiast tutaj można otrzymać pełnię doznań. Stąd gorąco polecam wejść do środka, dla malowideł, fresków i zdobień.

Outstanding 16th century frescoes

Wonderful frescoes that cover almost every inch of wall space! If you can read about the paintings theme of Mother of God before you visit you will have an easier time understanding the stories depicted. I spent over an hour inside working though several of the stories and saints.

In Nessebar muss man teilweise echt aufpassen, dass man die Kirchen nicht verwechselt.
Diese Kirche besticht vor allem durch seine bildgewaltigen Fresken.

Exceptional frescoes and icons from the 16th century

Medieval church with extremely well preserved frescoes and icons. It was built in the 11th century and the frescoes are from the 16th century. The altar is said to be the original from the 16th century.
The church was dedicated to the Mother of God and all the scenes in it are thematically connected with the Mother of God.
