A very picturesque place. It was very nice. The temperature was perfect ( end of August). The town is a walking distance away from Zlaton holiday resort. Inside the town are some very good restaurant’s, shops and historic sites. The place has a nice church and the smallest cathedral in the world. There are also a lot of Roman buildings. I advice it for people who like southern Europe and history

Very beautiful beaches, hot 😍♨️ and very clean. For me one of the best beaches in Gisela I recommend the rental of Gisela .there is market and cafe , restaurants

Beautiful beach…kids loved it! 5 star for the beach. The cafe selling food was appalling I’d give it -10. The staff were exceptionally rude and so so so slow! Hygiene wasn’t high on their radar along with customer service. Massive shame!

This is the closest sandy beach to Zadar -about 20 to 30 min drive.
Great for young families as the water is shallow and the sand is ok. Try the mud bath as it’s free, found this the best part about our day on the beach because it was a laugh.
Washrooms are free near the mud bath area. The beach bars can be expensive but that is common throughout the popular parts of Croatia.
Try to go later in the day as you can avoid the €7 car parking fee, and also the beach starts getting quieter as during the school holiday break the beach gets packed. If you get the chance visit Nin to eat at their reasonable priced restaurants than rather spend a fortune at the beach bars.

The view of the surrounding area is great. Mass tourism was frightening for us. 13 years ago there were maybe only 150 people here, parking was free, there was no garbage lying around, there was no bridge, no umbrellas, food and drink you brought yourself. The charm of the lagoon is gone. Too bad, it's all about making money from nature.

I was so excited for going to a sandy beach, well it wasn’t exactly what I was wanting for.
Small rocks mixes with sand , very shallow water, two main showers , but you get super dirty on the way from the shower to the parking lot
The only interesting thing was the medical mud.

Highly touted in guidebooks etc., but nothing special.
Very crowded, very warm water, unfortunately a lot of garbage and far too few trash cans (nevertheless you should not just throw your garbage), 20,- for sunbeds under umbrellas, 7,- parking fee still at 4 pm,...
We got to know nicer places in Croatia. For example the beach at our accommodation Villa Topesa 😉

a beautiful, varied panorama of a relatively "natural" sandy beach "(pebble-sand beach)". For the children there is plenty of shallow water, which means parents can relax and not have to look around every five seconds to see if their child is in danger. The kids can keep themselves busy in the shallow water, collect mussels and annoy crabs that are still running around, which is not common on every beach anymore. There is also a beautiful panorama of mountains in 3D effect, in a great Baltic atmosphere and a nice change on two sides. Because you can kitesurf on one side, for example, or drink wine romantically as a couple. There are small planted bushes that provide shade from time to time and a jetty for those sensitive to sand that stretches almost to the tip of the beach. All in all, pack a nice picnic and just go on holiday.

Queens beach , Nice location, clean clear and shallow water. nearby is mud beach : there you can rub yourself with medicinal mud.

The lagoon is easily accessible. Parking costs, payable at a parasol in front of the entrance, €5.00.
2 sunbeds and a parasol on the beach €20 per day.
