This is the waterfront area at the Old City and was very pretty even on a rainy day. One should take a walk along the water's edge, enjoy the old architecture and the views of the sea.

It's a really nice place to walk around and watch the boats coming and going and everything else that's going on. Everywhere is clean and tidy.

As in most costal towns this is the main area to walk and enjoy the town. The sea and the town meet there with all the resturants and cafes

Gutes Lokal, wenn man einfach nur essen will. Dass Essen ist gut, Pizza dauert recht lang. Das Personal war etwas distanziert.

I am vegetarian and was pleased with my dinner here. The restaurant has a retro decor and the service was great. Loved the music too. We were the last customers there on a Saturday night with all attention on us :) and (who seemed to be) the owner who was serving us was super cool.
Seemed like a family run restaurant like most of them in the area. I'm assuming his wife was the chef and she whipped up a delicious salad for me. Also their tomato soup was homemade style and not loaded with butter or cream. My BF had steak which he enjoyed and the fries it came with were oh so good!

على طول حافة الميناء في كل منزل تقريبا هناك مطعم. يتخصص معظمهم في مأكولات البلقان ، ويقدم العديد منهم الأسماك والمأكولات البحرية. لقد وجدت الأسعار مرتفعة ، لكن متعة تناول العشاء المطلة على ميناء روفينج لا تقدر بثمن. في الحالات القصوى ، يمكنك استخدام خدمات المطاعم أو الجلوس على طاولة مع فنجان قهوة. ستكون التكاليف أقل بشكل كبير ، ولن ينخفض الإعجاب بالمشهد الطبيعي.

The Riva is worth a visit inner view. Great views across the Rovinj bay, and some interesting old buildings which go right down to the waterfront. There's a market there which sells tourist stuff but also a lot of local produce especially truffles and varieties of honey.
It's worth walking away from the market long the waterfront harbour and just keeping going. Places to stop and eat/drink if you want but you also get more nice views and you get away from the tourist throng in the old town area.
