Estes túmulos encontram-se inseridos dentro da 'Mountain of the Dead' (Montanha da Morte, em português). No seu interior, é possível observar pinturas antigas. No topo da montanha, é possível observar o deserto e o lago de Siwa. Local que compensa a visita exclusivamente pelo seu valor histórico-cultural.

Conheci três, entrei dentro das três, fotos são proibidas das tumbas. Mas antes, ficamos em cima da montanha apreciando as paisagens do oásis de Siwa.

ذهبت الى هناك منذ ثلاث اعوام انا وزوجتى واولادى وكانت اول زياره لنا لزاحة سيوه الجميله وقد نصحنى احد اصدقائى بان ازور هذا المعلم الجميل الذى يوحى بالعظمه وقد كان يوم رائع لى ولزوجتى واولادى ويقع هذا المعلم فى مكان مميز بالواحه

This place was cool in that you could go in an out of the tombs at will, they were all open and there are hundreds of them. The four tombs that were locked up had the color in them, they were so-so compared to the Valley of the Kings or Nobles in Luxor. But a fun place to be. Don't miss it

The structure of the place is interesting and the view from the hill is beautiful.But ,the tombs themselves are ,compared with the catacombs for example are very modest.They are always closed ,so you have to ask the guards to open them for you

Mountain of the Dead is very cool, lots and lots of tombs and a few with the most amazing paintings still fully intact. The colors and detail are wonderful. We were the only guest that day so each tomb had to be opened for us and we were allowed just to stand there and take in these delicate treasures. Best part, slipped the guard a little cash and was able to take a few non-flash pictures.

L'escursione alle tombe è offerta gratis da P&G per alcuni viaggiatori che preferirebbero restare a El Alamein. Il percorso per accedervi è fuori da ogni sicurezza, essendo il tragitto piuttosto aspro e scivoloso senza scalini normali nei punti più impervi.

è un posto suggestivo le tobme visitabili sono solo 2 perche le altre sono state saccheggiate dagli inglesi nella 2 guerra mondiale.

Le tombe visitabili sono soltanto due, una è particolarmente conservata ed è possibile ammirare in tranquillità i numerosi dipinti ottimamente conservati. Da fuori è possibile ammirare un panorama spettacolare su tutta l' oasi, il lago salato e il contrasto del deserto.
