Palolem has maddening crowd this weekend and we did not get place to park at all. So we went to patnem beach. It was a great place. We got parking easily as crowd is less.

Patnem beach is so beautiful and peaceful. Not many know about this hidden beach so the crowd is very less or mostly are outsider. It's in south Goa. You can reach here by car or 2 wheeler, but i will suggest to take 2 wheeler since parking can be issue and road is also very narrow. You will find some good restaurant on beach itself.
People do exercise, Yoga, walking, running since the beach is very quiet. Do visit this beach.

A praia é muito agradável e ainda com uma afluencia turistica aceitável. Água quente , boa praia e diversos restaurantes para todos os gostos.

Beautiful beach. Wonderful and safe swimming. Great food from the varied and many shacks. Too many feral dogs. At times very disconcerting running in packs.

This is a beautiful restful horseshoe bay with a family vibe suitable for all ages. Great beach shacks and cottages and safe for swimming in the warm waters.
Sadly the dogs and dog poo spoil it, hence 4* not 5*.

Chwalę Boga,że wybrałem sąsiednią plaże. Talpona Beach. Tutaj...głośnio,brudno,bez sensu. Jak w Ustce. A i tak lepiej niż w Palolem Beach. Tam to już masakra.

It is a lesser known one compared to its next door beach Palolem. And that is why tourists tend to skip this beach. However this beach definitely deserves a visit. The beach is neat and clean. The water is calm over here. And the sparse crowd makes it even better. The shacks are nice and trendy. The beach is frequented mostly by international tourists.

Patnem is a lesser known beach and hence does not attracts a lot of crowd - which makes it an ideal for a quiet and relaxing walk/ stay. Having said that there are enough options to stay or to have a meal.

Hi, I really recommend Bougainvillea at the quiet end of the beach which has really lovely rooms and is in a great location. In fact I've just come back there today and it was my fourth time here! Pooja, the owner, is lovely and they have a wonderful atmosphere, so do give it a go. I'm already booked to go back in February!
