Arun est un excellent guide maîtrisant parfaitement l’anglais. Je le conseille fortement afin de découvrir les plantations de thé mais aussi plus largement la culture du Kerala.

What a gem of a guide - Arun is genuinely motivated as well as super knowledgeable about Munnar, the tea plantations as well as the tea factory (I’ve done a hike + tea tour with him). He’s also a good photographer :) (great if you’re travelling by yourself). Highly recommend him!

The hike with our guide Arun from D Trek Munnar was our highlight in Munnar. He was informative, kind and caring.
The hike we did went through a tea plantage and then along a ridge over several peaks. The view to all sides was wonderful! Arun told us a lot of interesting facts about tea picking and Munnar’s nature. On one of the peaks we had a rest and had some fruits and cake that Arun brought for us. The hike ended with a very good, Indian lunch in town. We 100 % recommend D Trek Munnar!

Great fun for the day, Arun was knowledgable about the area and it’s history, so we felt in good hands throughout the day. We went on a tea factory and tasting tour and then a hike to see the sunset. Would have loved to do the early morning day long hike too - but didn’t have enough time. Thanks Arun!

I did the full day Lakshmi mountain hike with Arun today followed by the tea factory and tasting visit. It was the best day of my entire trip in India. Arun was a superb guide both in the hiking and the tea factory visit. He is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and I felt I learned so much as well as enjoying the most stunning scenery on the hike. Arun paced the hike brilliantly , balancing full explanations of the tea plantations with phots stops, and some spectacular views. Arun provided water and fruit for the trek and we stopped at a really great place for a masala dosa for lunch.
The tea factory visit was fascinating , as was the tasting.
I can’t recommend Arun’s services highly enough. I will definitely book him for more trips when I return.

Myself and son took a few tours with Arun and had a fantastic time (tea trail and chokramudi peak were the highlights for us). He’s unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. He loves to chat whilst at the same time being mindful not to be overbearing and to give his clients space to enjoy the moment by themselves. All in all 5*! Thanks my man 🙏🤩

Arun has some amazing knowledge. Very good level of fitness and always adapting to us, very kind and supportive. I will come back hiking with him for sure.

The Lakshmi trek is a great trek with amazing views! Arun is a great guide with a lot of knowledge to share about tea manufacturing and the history of Munnar. We’ve also hiked with him to Chokramudi peak and would definitely book with him again!

We went for 2 hikes with Arun, the first an evening trek across half of the 6 mountain range, the second a morning quick hike around sunrise. Arun was great at gauging our level of fitness and encouraged us to moderate the hike to something a little more challenging - but well within our comfort zone. Both hikes were amazing with unbelievable views and lots of opportunities for gorgeous photos and moments to relax and enjoy the nature. The morning hike was a particularly fun scramble up a relatively steep mountain and a descent through grasslands and forest where you could see evidence of the elephants that had walked before us. Arun is knowledgeable about the local nature and history and a real pleasure to have as a guide. He provided snacks, fruit and water making it very easy for us to just wake up and go. Thanks Arun - I would highly recommend you to any walkers or hikers of all levels!

Such a brilliant hike! Beautiful scenery and we lost count of how many times we said ‘wow’ out loud! Arun is brilliant and taught us so much! Would highly recommend!
