Lord Hanuman Birthplace

This is believed that Anjneri hills are birthplace of Lord Hanuman.
These are situated on Nashik Trimbak Way.
The main idol of Lord Hanuman is very attractive in hilltop temple.
There are many prasad and refreshments shops are on pathway.
Atmosphere was very pleasant.

Really worth visit.

Ideally this is the best place to visit in Nashik after Brahmagiri trek in Trimbakeshwar. The administration should have repaired this place during Kumbh Mela. Tourists would have come in droves. Park your car at the Bottom and walk up the trail up. It is slippery, so wear good shoes. In the rainy season it is awesome for the selfie crazy crowd. But I love the winters. It is cold and the best season to visit. Carry lots of water. Because of the broken trail, I will not suggest small kids doing the trek. It takes 4 hours to up and come down.

Day Trip from Nasik

Anjaneri is in the mountain range near Nasik about 20 km from the city. It is considered the birthplace of Lord Hanuman and is named after his mother Anjani. The hills are known for hiking/trekking and it is very picturesque in the monsoons. The entrance to the hiking trail is not well marked. The hike up to the fort will take close to 2 hours. The trail at places can be treacherous. It is well worth a day trip from Nasik. Pack water and snacks as local quality is suspect.

Birth Place of Lord Hanuman

Although it is a birth place of Lord Hanuman, this place seemed neglected. The road going up the hill is not proper. There is a small temple in between dedicated to Bal Hanuman and his mother Anjneri Devi.

Nashik is a good place. Trimbskesh temple is hardly 27 km. There are so many tourists interest place. These are not only tourists but religious also. One should once visit Nashik

Yes, there are stones and pebbles falling with water. You should be careful about this.

Hi, There are couple of shops selling eatables, water botteles. cooked as well as packaged enroute to the Anjani-Mata temple. But perhaps these re open only on holidays. Hence its advisable to take eatables that are fulfilling or what one likes to eat!! But remember to bring back back non-degradable waste back with you. Best wishes.

Suitable during the starting of monsoon season which is one of rhe best time to visit I think. Usually avoid during heavy rainfall unless you are ready to deal with muddy slopes and flooded steps at some places. Don't forget to have good grip shoes irrespective of season.

If you want to go on till the TOP of mountain then it will take about 5 to 6 hours for to and fro journey from the mountain base

To your first question - Anjeneri Hills is 25 km from Nashik central bus stand. Related to hotels - There are many hotels near bus stand depending on your budget you can find best hotels

Hey if you wish to see the reverse water fall the best time would be in the monsoons . As it is the summer season it would be dry now. Secondly if you wish to see the Pandavleni Caves,Saptashrungi,Sita Gumpha,Trimbakeshwar Temple,Anjneri Hill As you would be sepending afew nights at Sula Wines you can see Pandavleni Caves, Saptashrungi,Sita Gumpha fo irst as they are within the city reach, Then you may take a days trip to Trimbakeshwar Temple,Anjneri Hill As they are a an hour's drive from the city.
