At the lake boating is good and it not expensive as compared to other tourist spots. We done cycling and horse riding at lake.

Kodai lake

Kodai lake is one of the most visited place in Kodaikanal. Lot of activities happening around lake like boating, cycling, etc. You can hire bike to go around full lake. Most of hotels surrounding with lake.

good for boating

good for boating, however when we visited it was raining so the boating was not functioning. slightly crowded during weekends

The Kodaikanal Lake is certainly very beautiful. We enjoyed our drive around it on the perimeter road approximately 7 Kms. All around lots of street food, boating and cycling including tandem bicycles.

The kodaikanal lake is situated centre of the city. In this spot horse riding and cycling is available. Tamil Nadu government is operating boat service and lot of variety of shop is around the lake. mainly children's enjoying this place

A nice place to walk around

It is very pleasant to walk around the lake. The total periphery is about 4.5 kilometers, so that can be covered in less than an hour. Plenty of vendors at various places where you can buy somethig to eat. Boating (I did not do) seems to be a popular activity in the lake.

Good place to spend time

Must visit and enjoy the boating there - lot of places to spend time in and around the lake with eating outlets , home made choclate shops etc . One must take the cycle on rent and go around the lake it is a good experience . There are other recreational sports as weill with games for kids where one can spend time with family .

Excellent lake, well maintained

Signature Kodai lake, reasonably clean, great view. The 6 km round around the lake is unique. You can do by car, walk, bicycle. Refreshing lake. Crowded if you want to have boating.
