Elephants are not meant to be tied to a pole and roamed around town to please tourists. It's a shame and so sad to see them tied to a pole in Town, my heart was crying.

ABERRANT SCENE.
A few days ago, while passing by on my rented bike, I, despite myself, saw elephants tied with chains and a BABY ELEPHANT CELEBRATELY DRESSED, made to sit down, grabbed by the tusk in favor of very intelligent tourists who wanted a photo with him. We are now in 2025, we must evolve.

Elephants in chains…raised for entertainment. Not enough space to walk for the elephants. Horrible. No one should visit this place.

Do NOT go anywhere near here! I did not obviously go here. The poor elephants were being fed, touched, photographed and rode along a main road and side walk near to the famous historical ruins that I was trying to visit (in the end didnt because these mistreated elephants were in the area). It was absolutely heartbreaking to see. The elephants looked very stressed and there were many many of them. Commercialising elephants in this way must be stopped! They deserve to be living their lives in the wild whereever possible, and otherwise living out the rest of their lives in an ethical sanctuary that does not promote any of these practices for human and tourist interference. If people stop supporting these businesses they WILL cease to exist.

Fatal sick elephants, let's not encourage these things in Thailand there are wonderful experiences of love and care for animals!!! Please let's be aware and not pay to ride an elephant because we are hurting it.

Absolutely avoid!
The elephants are held by chains around their necks and feet. They are crowded together and don't even have anything to eat or drink nearby.
In addition, they walk on asphalt under 34 degrees

For example, riding an elephant and passing under the elephant's belly. Take pictures with the elephants, feed the elephants, and have an elephant show.
Including visiting the corral at the former Krom Phra Khachaban area

Sightseeing on an elephant's back is something you can't experience in Japan, so it was wonderful, but the elephant trainer was angry at the elephant, and there were some scenes that looked like abuse. It was not pleasant to see, and I didn't feel any respect for the elephants.
It was disappointing because I thought that elephants are treated like gods in Thailand.
And they asked for tips as a matter of course. I didn't mind it, and I gave them a tip because it was a wonderful experience, but I thought they should have taken a different job instead of complaining about the elephants, and I wish they treated the elephants more carefully.
Without elephants, there would be no business. There was no respect for elephants! That's all.

Biked by the place and it ruined my whole experience of Ayutthaya. Horrible, disgusting cruelty in broad daylight with ignorant, selfish tourists smiling as they caused the elephants pain. These elephants are stabbed with bullhooks like mere objects, chained, beaten with wooden poles, forced to wear back-breaking baskets overloaded with riders (they are not physically designed to bear weight on their backs), and they look sedated and depressed.
I've been to ethical elephant sanctuaries and I can see how depressed and sick these elephants are by comparison.

Please don’t go and don’t support this business! It is an elephants cruelty business !
Elephants are tortured, chained, and abuse!
They are always in the heat abused by the elephant rider!!!
Staffs are very aggressive and they are willing to fight with tourists anytime!
I saw one of them raised the elephant sharp hook to hurt a female tourist!

Why is this place promoted when all you see is abuse….chained elephants is cruel and abusive. Elephant rides need to be banned…..elephants are not built to be ridden. These beautiful, intelligent creatures need to be in a sanctuary where visitors can bathe them and scratch them and then I would consider visiting.
