The crew at Haad Yao Divers is absolutely amazing, and the quality of care you get at the dive shop is top notch.
I did a Rescue course with Ian, and he is now one of my favorite instructors I've had. Ian loves teaching, and has a way of adequately challenging students while also being positive and encouraging, which is hard to do. Ian genuinely cares about his students, and really takes the time to make sure they grasp the concepts in a practical way and adjust based on each student's needs.
Etienne and Mateja were also so lovely to work with during the course, and were so welcoming. This shop truly cares about the experience of the students and divers and I highly recommend them.

J’ai passé mon PADI Open Water avec Haad Yao Divers un peu par hasard comme ils étaient proches de mon hôtel … et le hasard a très bien fait les choses !
Ian, mon instructeur, a su me mettre parfaitement en confiance avec son sérieux et sa gentillesse. Un énorme merci à lui !
Et quelle chance de pouvoir évoluer à Sail Rock pour mes quatre plongées !
Enfin, le bateau est vraiment agréable, l’équipe très sympa, le matériel en très bon état et les repas très bons.

We had a great time diving with Haad Yao Divers. They have a staff that really enjoy working there and know their stuff. From the driver who picked us up to the DMs, boat crew, to the owner, they're all a really nice bunch of people. We dived with HYD on about 6 or more days, each time was a blast. Their boat is comfortable, the food served onboard is delicious and plentiful and the Thai crew are friendly and always super helpful. The sites we went to (of course) were fabulous. Would definitely dive with this bunch again!

We did our PADI open water over 4 days with Mateja who was the most wonderful instructor. She was incredibly calm and patient and made us feel safe the whole time. We went to beautiful dive sites and I would 100% recommend!

After 8 years of "diving abstinence", I did my refresher at Haad Yao Divers and it was great! Ian took the time and patience for 1:1 conversations and dives reminding me of everything that is needed to dive with joy and safety. Thanks to him, I gained back trust and could work on my breathing and equalizing techniques. And the best, besides the technical pars: We saw a wide variety of beautiful animals at the "Sail Rock" diving site. With Ian on my site, I even had the courage to dive into the "chimney" (inside the rock), which I never would have thought I'd be brave and good enough for. The video Ian took from the day is now on the Haad Yao Divers FB page, with music and cool effects. Just marvellous. Thank you so much for this incredibly beautiful experience!

Wir waren 2019 bereits hier um unseren Open Water zu machen - nun drei Jahre später sind wir zurück für den Advanced. Selbe Tauchlehrer - selbes Team.
Alle super freundlich und ein rundum mega Service.
Es wird sich genug Zeit genommen und wir fühlen uns wie zuhause.

Tauchen September 2022. … nach einem kurzen Abstecher in der Tauchbasis inkl. Freundlicher Beratung haben wir für den nächsten Tag den Sail Rock inkl. 2 Tauchgängen gebucht. Die Ausrüstung konnten wir direkt am Vortag anprobieren und fürs tauchen 🤿 zusammenstellen, was den nächsten morgen etwas entspannter gemacht hat ;). Die Ausrüstung war tadellos und in einem guten Zustand. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir dann unseren Guide Etienne an der Basis getroffen. Von dort aus ging es mit dem Pick up ca. 10 Minuten zum Boot Anleger. Das Boot wird mit diversen Tauchbasen geteilt. Leider haben die Haad You D… zu diesem Zeitpunkt kein eigens Boot mehr wie vor Corona. Das Boot war in Ordnung. Am Sail Rock angekommen haben wir unseren beiden Tauchgänge absolviert. Davor und zwischen den Tauchgängen wurden wir mit Frühstück, Mittagessen, Früchten , Café +Tee sowie softgetränken versorgt, was alles im sehr fairen Preis inklusive war. Das tauchen war sehr angenehm. Etienne ist ein super Guide. Er war gewissenhaft und hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Wir können die Haad You divers und Etienne uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen 😊☺️😊

I went there with a friend who has her Open Water Diver and had not dived in 4 years (I am a Rescue Diver). We dove together and the instructor really took the time to make my friend feel comfortable underwater. As I am an underwater photographer, he was also able to show me some cool stuff and I was able to take some nice pictures.
The boat trip was really nice and relaxing, and the food was great. The marine life there is very diverse and abundant. We also were very lucky to dive with not one but two whale sharks there !

Awesome day! My first time diving in Thailand, previously dived in Malta, so many more tropical fish here! Instructors were all so lovely and I felt very safe with them. Thank you! :)

I highly recommend Haad Yao Divers since safety is the most important part for me when it comes to diving. Haad Yoa Divers equipment is in top condition and Thorsten, our Dive Instructure, takes his job really sericous, though the fun part is never coming short. We went to "Sail Rock" which is a great spot to see a lot of fish and if you are lucky a whale shark might cross your stream.
