A great experience. It was easy to find the place where the course would take place and Joy was an excellent Guide to Thai cuisine. She spoke good English which made it easy to follow the instructions and had a way that made you feel comfortable!
The food we cooked is possibly the best I have eaten during my stay in Koh Tao and I can not wait to test all the skills again when I get home.
Highly recommend!

This Thai cooking course was just awesome. The panoramic view of Koh Tao while we were cooking was amazing, but it was especially our teacher who made the experience unforgettable. She was passionate, warm and able to make the preparation of traditional dishes both fun and accessible. Savoring our creations facing the sea was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend!

It has been a great activity, very well organized, the food very good! We have been very entertaining for 3 hours.
We made two dishes that we ate and then a third that we took for dinner 😋
He speaks very good English and Joy is a lovely person

This cooking class with Joy was so special, informative and fun. I learnt so much and the food we made tasted soooo good! Joy is warm and welcoming of all, and her english is great to understand. Also the view of the island is sensational. Highly recommend!

A moment of pure delight, from every point of view: visual, friendly, and of course for the taste buds. Joy is adorable and very pro, the view from her terrace is sensational. And we cooked three courses, quite doable back home. Tasting on site and box to take away what has not been eaten. Joy captures all the moments for everyone and sends them to us immediately, beautiful memories...

We took this cooking class as a couple and would totally recommend it!
You cook on the roof terrace with a really great view. The food was amazing! Joy is an extremely good chef and gives her students the best insider tips! Everything was clean, well prepared and really delicious! We cooked Phanaeng Curry, Spring Rolls and Pad Thai. This was the best Curry we ever had

Hello
We were at Joy's rooftop terrace 2 days ago in the evening and cooked a delicious meal with 6 people. It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot about Thai cuisine, the ingredients and, above all, the preparation method.
It tasted wonderful and we were allowed to take the delicious pad Thai and the rest of the spring rolls with us to enjoy the next evening.
It was a great event. Thank you, Joy, we will try it at home and think of you. Thank you very much for the lovely evening.

Joy was fantastic, we had a class of just 2 of us and she asked what we would like to cook, making sure it would be something we could cook at home too. She gave us tonnes of tips, was really friendly and good fun. A morning well spent with great views from the house and the food was delicious too - take away boxes available as you get lots of food! Thank you Joy!

We booked a private cooking class with Joy with a group of five girlfriends. Wow! The best cooking class I’ve done. Joy herself is incredibly kind and has a very calm nature. The views are amazing at sunset overlooking the ocean. Joy explained each ingredient to us, encouraging us to try them and season our own dishes. She takes photos and videos that you can access after the class for free so you’re able to make the dishes at home. We made massaman curry, pad Thai and Tom kha. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Joy!

I attended a cooking class with Joy and was absolutely thrilled! Joy is extremely competent, a very nice, humorous person and made the afternoon a real experience. We cooked three dishes in three hours, which we agreed on with all the participants in the class. Joy familiarized us with the ingredients before each dish and also explained a lot while we were cooking. She also took photos and videos during the cooking and sent them to us via AirDrop as a reminder of the recipes. First we cooked a red curry - the best I've eaten on the trip. We also prepared spring rolls and a really delicious Pad Thai. Food intolerances and preferences were taken into account and we were provided with free water the whole time. We were with Joy on her great balcony with a beautiful view, which made the class even more beautiful.
I would recommend the course with Joy to everyone! 😊

Hi, at the moment we are conducting our cooking classes at Idjang's kitchen in Sairee until our own cooking school is finished in Mae Haad. Prices are 1,500 THB for a half day class with 3 dishes and 2.100 THB for a full day class with market tour and 5 dishes.
