This was a fun. We left our boat the Brassac, and climbed aboard our little tendor to the noodle making. I eat a lot of noodles, so really wanted to see how it is done. After a short walk, we came across the noodle makers. It was fun and every stage was explained to us and of coarse we all had a very good go at it too.Fascinating.

Everything Rice Noodles and more....

This was fun observing and participating in the many activities of the factory. The staff was quite friendly and accommodating in letting us do all the various things with rice - making noodles and more. We enjoyed this place.

Intéressant à décourir

Souvent inclus dans les packs visite des marchés flottants. Certes c'est avant tout fait pour les touristes mais cela permet de voir comment sont fabriquées les nouilles que l'on a mangé au petit déjeuner sur les archés flottants.

Một trong những điểm tham quan gần Chợ nổi Cái Răng về làm hủ tiếu.
Các sợi hủ tiếu được làm thủ công trông rất tuyệt.

Traditional Rice Noodles

Very interesting - husks are separated from rice. Ground the rice and made rice flour, added water and made pancake like batter. Very thin crepes were made on skillet and dried for 2-3 hours and then cut into noodles.

This was a great stop on our Mekong delta tour. The rice noodles are made in a very traditional way and it actually surprised us how they were made (not going to give spoilers). You can also get a chance to try make some yourself. There's a good selection of snacks and souvenirs to buy afterwards - our favourite was the fried noodle 'pizza'.

Piccola fabbrica di noodles di riso nei pressi del Mercato fluviale di Cai Rang che una famiglia è riuscita a fare inserire alle guide nei giri turistici in zona e che è poco più di una curiosità.
E' divertente che i turisti contribuiscano a preparare gli spaghetti locali ma, a parte il mercatino all'interno in cui comprare una birra fresca, le condizioni igieniche del posto sconsigliano di acquistare altro!
Vale qualche minuto della giornata ma non è certo fondamentale.

Trải nghiệm làng nghề làm hủ tiếu thì 6 Hoài 1 địa điểm tốt để đến tham quan sau khi ghé chợ nổi Cái Răng.

Thú vị khi coi cảnh tráng bánh, thử đổ bánh ... phơi bánh và cắt thành sợi hủ tiếu và có thể mua về làm quà cho gia đình.

Cute family factory

We visit there after Cha Rang tour. You can see how to make rice noodle and you can buy a lot of souvenir (foods, handmafe stuff, drinks, etc). In the neighbourhoud you can eat a really good Pho soup and drink Vietnsmese coffee.
