Hi no you don’t need them. There is a web site for foreign travel which is recommend by the health service and constantly updated. You put in where you are travelling and the list of what is suggested comes up. They also suggest you check it again 30 days before in case it’s been updated. Hello, we were sleeping in Tam Coc, it’s really good to go there by motorbike ( 5km by walk ) motorbike is 100000/day you can visit more places... Trang an is really nice, you have to pay for boat with tour. Without tour is not possible. You can choose 1 of 3 different tour. 200000vnd. Takes 3 hours. We visited this place about 3 pm.. it’s quite late but we met there maybe 3 boats... in the morning is really crazy, you can meet hundreds boats because of Asian tourists... you need more help?

I would say it's completely safe. You wear a life jacket and the water is flat. At no time did we feel like we were going to fall out.

These are two different areas. Tam Coc is less commercial and they row the boats with their feet, which is kinda cool. If you want to see the set of King Kong then you need to go to Tran An. Also at Tran An you do get off the boat a few times, which is nice. Both are beautiful, you won't go wrong with either!

Hi, we stayed at Tam Coc, not Ninh Binh. Taxis are cheap, loads of agents offering organised trips. Advise Trang an best option, maybe combine with Mua cave (500 steps)
