I went there on Sunday morning with my 2 boys and my daughter. We spent around 5 minutes walking around then went to the rabbits cage and feed the rabbits, my son which is 9 years old got bit by one of the rabbits there and I told the staff at the entrance and asked for a tissue and the response that I got is horrendous they just said RM0.80 for the tissue. They didn’t show any signs of empathy, that’s my last visit there and no more! I went to the doctor and asked for vaccine and treat the wound because the rabbits looked sick. The farm is not child friendly! If you have children please don’t bring them. They don’t care about your children safety. At least put a sign don’t feed the rabbits using your hands!

J’y suis allée pour mon plus jeune fils qui insistait… mais c’est une catastrophe… il faut fermer cet endroit en urgence… les crocodiles sont laissés à l’abandon sans eau… dans des eaux surpeuplées… et, à côté, attendent dans des cages et enclos leur future nourriture vivante… lapins, chèvres… cohabitation morbide!

Nous avons voulu voir de nos propres yeux ce site car c’était censé être une des choses à faire à sandakan. A fuir, cet endroit est horrible. Je n’ai jamais vu des animaux dans d’aussi mauvaises conditions. Il sont comateux et creve de faim, le tout dans un enclos de 2m carré. Ne pas encourager ce type de pratique.

This place was horrific The animals are kept in appalling conditions. The crocodiles were in bare concrete cages and stagnant water. An ostrich was kept alone in a cage so small he had pulled his feathers out and an otter again alone in a tiny cage with a small amount of stagnant water was so covered in fleas he spent the whole time writhing around.

I don't think the place is as bad as some are making it to be. That or else maybe the management has made some improvement. We liked the goats, catfish and otter. The cleanliness could be improved as some of the crocodile tanks had a lot of algae and the rabbit enclosure had a lot of poo.

The last trip I came to this place many years back, I cant really remember what year. So month of May 2021 before government announced FMCO, I brought my nephews and friends visit this place again to let them see how is this place look like and what animals they can see other than crocs.
Through my observation during our visit, nothing much new and change except the bridge has been repaired for safety reason, certainly. For that I would say well done to the management.
However, in order to encourage more visitors to come, I would love to suggest to add more animals to make it the place more exciting and interesting especially to attract children interest to discover and learn about wildlife animals.
Of course I would come again to support our local tourism industry specifically in Sandakan.

Posto veramente triste che dovrebbero vietare. Oltre ai coccodrilli ci sono altre specie e le gabbie sono tutte piccole o sovraffollate. Molti i coccodrilli feriti e comunque tutti gli animali avevano visibilmente bisogno di cure e di un luogo più adeguato. Ho pianto per loro.

never been to a place more cruel to animals. this is a crocodile farm that keeps animals in awful, unsafe conditions, none of the animals are well cared for. the whole place has a stench as it is so unkept. looking into the eyes of all the different types of animals here broke my heart. they're such beautiful innocent creatures that are meant to be in the wild doing what is natural to them NOT stuck in concrete enclosures. the otters were so skinny and looked desperate for food when we walked past them. it is clear that the owners of this disgraceful institution do not care at all about the animals in their control and they only care about money.
PLEASE DONT SUPPORT THIS PLACE GO AND SEE CROCS IN THE WILD this is not how they should ever live.
