We drove to Perast and climbed the many stairs to the top of the tower ( for one Euro entrance fee) .You have to bend yr head in parts as the stairwell has some low parts.It has a metal handrail so felt safe to climb.The views at the top are great so definitely worth the climb.Take water as the climb can make u dehydrated

1 euro to climb the tower. 2 euros to enter the museum (you can choose to do both, neither, or one of them).
The main worship room is free.
The museum was quiet and had no explanation of what you were looking at. I don't think its a priority. The tower was nice, though expect some low celioooooooooooooo

The Church of St Nicholas is the most prominent of Perast. The Catholic church with its magnificent tower, was rebuilt in 1616, and is dedicated to the saint protector of travelers in the waters. In addition, in front of the church is the main square of Perast, with some statues of famous residents of Perast.

Perast is a small charming town across from Lady of the Rock. We visited Perast during a boat tour. Very idyllic and perfect for a quick stop for lovely pictures.

On land we visit the largest church of the 19 churches in this small village.
It stands out for its 55 m high Venetian bell tower and actually consists of a newer part, almost rectangular, built in front of an older part. In it you can visit the sacristy and a small museum with priestly vestments, icons etc.

This was our first stop in the beautiful Perest. We wanted to climb so we would get a good view of the landscape. At just 1 euro we couldn’t resist. There are quite a few steps to get to the top, which was challenging in the heat, but it is well worth it. Spent about 5 mins at the top taking pictures and taking it all in.

The St. Nikola Church is definite visit in Perast, located steps from the waterfront in the middle of Perast, BUT be sure to climb the tower behind. This 55 meter structure is a real marvel of engineering and the views are amazing from the top bell level. It is a little "tight" in a few spots (the stairs were purpose built, and not for tourists, so carry your backpack or leave it at the bottom) but you will be rewarded with stunning views of this small community and the surrounding bay. Great value for the 1 Euro admission charge. Enjoy.

Once you arrive in the city of Perast the bell tower draws your attention as you can see it from almost every part of he small town.
Good to see visually and take photos from the outside, located in the Main Street you can’t miss it.
Church is small but good to see, just nothing special. Lots of history to church and tower, you don’t need long to see, 10 minutes would be more than enough.

The bell tower can be seen from anywhere in town. We came across this church walking through town. The small church has a simple but pretty altar. A quick photo opportunity.
