I booked a tour with Akila from Tangalle to Ella via Udawalawe National Park. Akila is a great guide and was able to help me with many tips via WhatsApp even before our day trip. His TukTuk has lots of space and is very clean. His friend Sara who did my Elephant Safari tour was great, very knowledgeable and also took me away from where a lot of the Jeeps were to really have a fantastic experience.

My friend and I did the TukTuk Safari from Tangalle to Udawalawe Nationalpark. Akil picked us up at 5 am at our hotel and drove us with his Tuktuk to the Nationalpark. He was very carrying about having water etc. At the Nationalpark we did the safari with our guide Sara in a jeep. He saw many many animals and told us a lot about them. We also asked many questions, that he could answer. So we saw many elephants, crocodiles and even a leopard. On our way back home Akil stopped a lot to tell us about animals, sugar fields and other things. There were no problems at any time and we would recommend to do that again!

Hey, everybody! Holidaying with their son in August 2024, Sri Lanka for the first time. Looking ahead for someone who could take local transport to the places we wanted to visit, found a wonderful guy named Akila. Open, kind, very punctual, attentive. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the south of the island. Our hotel was in Tangalla and Akila lives right next door. With him on his knock-knock, we went to Halle and even Ella, and I have to say, you don't have to be afraid to go knock-knock long distances. Everything is very comfortable with Akila in particular, I felt confident, he's a long-term driver, he navigates well and he creates the most comfortable conditions in the trip. On the island speed is limited, and high-speed driving is still not possible, in addition, you need to take into account local traffic, so that by car travel will not be faster. And on a knock-knock with Akila, you ride quietly, the breeze blows, cool! He can stop where you ask, takes pictures of you himself, and exhibits the shot very well, helps communicate with locals if needed, speaks very good English, has a great sense of humor. The price of services is reasonable and adequate.

Booking was easy and Akila responded straight away. We made a
last minute change of date and asked for a car rather than tuk tuk, which Akila accommodated as well without difficulty.
On the day, we were picked up in Ella on time, in a new-looking, clean, lovely car and driven safely to Udawalawe where we changed to Sara’s jeep for the safari.
The sfari was excellent. A couple of hours to immerse ourselves in respectful elephant watching. Amazing experience.
following that, transfer to our beach resort was easy and seamless.
The best thing about booking this tour is how it made a potentially complicated leg of travel easy. Everything was included and taken cared of. We got from Ella to our next stop and had an amazing experience along the way.

We went on a tour with Akila from Ella to Tangalle via the Udawalawe National Park. We had a great day, certainly one of the highlights for our daughter! The pick up was on time and everything was safe and smooth. The tuk tuk was very comfortable as it is a larger than normal tuk tuk. Our luggage was easy to stow away.
In the national park, we changed to a jeep, which we had to ourselves. We then had a great tour with the driver Sara, who is super friendly, knows a lot about the animals and is pleasantly reserved towards the animals (unlike other jeep drivers in the park). It was a good experience. We were lucky enough to see 13 elephants (even if some of them only had their bums in the bushes), crocodiles, a huge number of birds and water buffalo.
On the onward journey, Akila had opened the roof of the tuk tuk for our greatest pleasure, so that we could only enjoy the rest of the journey standing up. Great fun!
Long after the journey was over, we were still in contact with Akila. We asked him hundreds of questions, he was super helpful in everything, made contacts and never tired of giving us good tips.
We highly recommend this company: helpful, helpful, professional, fair prices!!!

We took a trip from Hiriketiya to Ella via Yala with Akila. We had an amazing day! Pick up was on time and everything was safe and smooth. The tuk tuk was comfy as it is a larger than normal tuk tuk with very comfy seats. In Yala we saw elephants, a leopard, crocodiles and more! Would highly recommend

I had the pleasure of spending 2 days with Akila, he picked us up from Mirissa and we made our journey to Yala and then Ella. His tuktuk is amazing, he has a speaker, charger, luggage space, removable roof..he is so informative and is super helpful..He helped me buy my train tickets and showed us which platform to use and where to board. It was the highlight of our trip, he knew all the places and was so flexible with everything. We were so lucky as we went off season and the weather was beautiful which meant we had so many of the tourist.places to ourselves.I am already planning my return to go on more tuktuk drives.

We booked the Ella to Tangalle with Yala park your. This was a great way of seeing beautiful wildlife and get from Ella to the South Coast. Furthermore we did the Udawalawe National Park tour and South Coast tour. Both tours weten very nice!
Akila has great knowledge of the environment and animals. He is kind and a great driver. The price is better than on for example Get Your Guide and you will be driven around privately. The tuktuk is spacious, comfortable and had enough space for backpack luggage.

We spent 9 days in the south of this truly beautiful country. Akila was our guide and driver. We arranged Airport transfers through him and he took us on many trips and outings. Akila is extremely professional with excellent written and spoken English. He was always on time and extremely knowledgeable about the local area. We would not hesitate to recommend him. Thank you Akila for everything. We will return to amazing Sri Lanka!

We have just returned from a wonderful 12 days on the south coast of beautiful Sri Lanka. Akila was super efficient, knowledgeable and very fairly priced. He arranged return airport transfers by mini bus from Colombo to Tangalle plus numerous outings and tours in his TukTuk to nearby beaches and towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Akila and he has great English both written and spoken. Thank you Akila for taking care of us and we hope to meet you again one day soon.

My girlfriend and I would like to drive from Ella to Tangalle on the 8th or 9th of February. Includes a safari tour in the Udawalawe National Park.
Pick up at the hotel at Ella and arrival at the hotel near Tangalle.

I am visiting Sri Lanka January 5th and wanting to go on the safari. I am visiting Negombo, Kandy and Ella before moving on to Tangella. I am a solo traveller firstly what would the cost of the safari be and secondly would you be able to do the journey from Tangella to Unawtuna approximately 2 days after being in Tangella.
