All we needed. We wanted to do a tour Ella - Udawallawe - Tangale, and he seemed to be the best option, both in price and reviews. The experience is a bit expensive but it is a fair price (half of the price in the entrance to the National Park).
Regarding the tuk tuk, it is the fanciest tuk tuk we have seen hahaha. At the beginning he sent a smaller tuk tuk to pick us up to the 9 arch bridge, as narrow roads might be a problem for the big tuk tuk. Then, he drove us to Udawallawe stopping at viewpoints, monkeys, and elephants. We had lunch at a rice and curry buffet, which was cheap and delicious. We visited the park and were lucky to see a baby elephant. Finally, he brought us to Tangale.
We recommend him 100%.

Loved our tuktuk safari! It’s such a great idea doing something on the way to our next destination, rather than just a travel day. Akila was very knowledgeable, flexible, and clearly loves his country (who can blame him, it’s beautiful!). He pointed sights out as we were travelling which was great (lots of photo opportunities!). The safari in Udawalawe was gorgeous - lots of Ellie’s, birds & other animals. Definitely bring suncream as it gets super hot! Thank you so much!

Thanks to Tuk Tuk Safari Tamgalle, we had an unforgettable day! We were in the exciting world of safari, got acquainted with wildlife and all its diversity. Our guide and driver Cody is a true professional in his field, a very pleasant, responsible and positive person!
Everything was wonderful! We met as agreed, the car is in excellent condition, took into account all our wishes! In the Udavalave Nature Reserve, we plunged into the atmosphere of adventure. Our guide Sarat talked about animals in a very interesting way, paid attention to everyone and showed us! Of course, we saw the magnificent animals that we observed in their natural habitat. Huge elephants, parrots, a crocodile, nimble monkeys – each creature had its own unique charm and left us delighted.
The pictures of nature opened up in front of us, as if taken from the pages of a book about wildlife. Every detail created a complete picture and allowed us to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the island. We will recommend Tuk tuk safari Tangalle to everyone! Thank you very much for your work! You are the best in Sri Lanka!

♥Danke für Alles ♥
Wir sind im November das erste Mal nach Sri Lanka gereist. Da wir im Vorfeld einen guten Tourenanbieter vor Ort haben wollten, kontaktierten wir von Deutschland aus mehrere Anbieter. Fazit: Akile vonTuk Tuk Safari Tangalle schrieb umgehend zurück. Wir hatten ständig Kontakt bei whats app.
Angekommen in Tangalle, trafen wir uns, wie vereinbart. Wir bespprachen die Ausflüge, und Akile übertraf sämtliche Vorstellungen. Dank ihm hatten wir den schönsten Urlaub aller Zeiten. Wir fuhren mit seinem Tuk Tuk immer vom Hotel Goyambokka Guest House ab, und besuchten viele Ziele an verschiedenen Tagen, innerhalb unserer 14 Tage. Akile ist 101 % zuverlässig. Sein Tuk Tuk ist mehr als gemütlich, da er dort Autositze, die mega gemütlich sind, eingebaut hat. Wir hielten oft an, um unterwegs Fotos zu schiessen. Er war jederzeit für uns da. Wir haben uns in diesen Tagen mit ihm angefreundet. Außerdem wurden wir sogar privat zu seinem Elternhaus eingeladen. Die Eltern sind genauso herzlich, ganz tolle liebenswerte Menschen. Wir bekamen mehrfache superschöne Geschenke.
Außerdem musste mein Mann eines Tages ins Krankenhaus nach Tangalle. Akile fuhr uns hin und zurück, und weigerte sich, dafür Geld zu nehmen.
Wir besuchten mit ihm 2 Nationalparks, wir fuhren mit dem Tuk Tuk nach Ella, dort mit dem Zug nach Hamuptale, und wurden dort wieder von ihm abgeholt. Dann besuchten wir einen Tempel an deer Südküste, danach bekamen wir einen Stadtrundfahrt am Hafen, und waren danach an der Blue , Zudem waren wir an der Turtle Bay, wo wir mit Schildkrötn schnorchel konnten. Im Anschluss gingen wir in ein nettes Restaurant Moon Restaurant. Dort befindet sich ebenso ein Traumstrand, den wir später auch nochmals besuchten.
Die Preise waren mehr als fair.Während unseren Aufenthaltes wurden wir ständig von vielen anderen Anbitern angesprochen, die uns überall hinbringen wollten. aber wir lehnten dies ab. Akile ist sehr zuverlässig und ein mega guter Fahrer, bei ihm kann man sich sicher fühllen. Ich bin sogar auf dem Rückweg im Tuk Tuk eingeschlafen, obwohl wir aus dem Gebirge im strömenden Regen, schnell die GEgend verlassen mussten, da in der REgion Ella aufgrund der Wettervrhältnisse die Gefahr von Erdrutsch entstand. Die Straße wurde kurz darauf sogar gesperrt.
Allles in Allem könnte ich noch längere Erfahrungen schreiben, und kann gar nicht aufhören zu schwärmen.
Lieber Akile - ich hoffen, dass viele Interessenten diesen Bericht lesen werden, und wünsche Dir alles erdenklich Gute, Wenn wir irgendwann wieder in Sri Lanka sein werden, bist Du der allererste, der es erfahren wird.

We had a great time and a safe trip from Hiriketiya Beach to Ella with a lovely Safari in Udawalawa. Everybody was very helpful and friendly!! The service was outstanding as they always replied within minutes even at night. Can highly recommend:)

Gut und einfach organisierte Safari Tour inklusive Transport. Akila ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig, sein Tuktuk auch für lange Strecken sehr bequem. Wir starteten von Tangalle und waren im Bundala & Udawalawe Nationalpark. Im Anschluss brachte uns Akila nach Ella. Für die Safari hatten wir einen eigenen Jeep. Beide Safari-Guides waren zudem sehr freundlich und interessiert. Top-Service :)

From the moment we were picked up at 5 am our driver was professional and courteous delivered with a beaming smile (the smile lasted all day even with the horrendous weather conditions) .Our journey took us from Mirissa to Ella via the safari park arriving at 3 pm in the afternoon. The tuk tuk was spacious and very comfortable , we couldnt of wished for more

We had such a nice time with our driver Pradeep. He picked us up at 6am in Ella and drove us safely to Udawalawe Nationalpark. On the way we could stop to take pictures whenever we wanted & we already saw a lots of animals just on the drive. As we arrived at Udawalawe we got in a Jeep which has already waited for us. The Safari was perfect, we saw so many elephants, peacocks, other birds & so on. After Pradeep drove us to our hotel in Tangalle. All in all a perfect day & the possibility to combine transfer & Safari is very smart.

Die Safari war super organisiert. Wir wurden um 6:00 Uhr in Ella abgeholt und haben um 8:30 Uhr die safari gemacht. Anschließend ging es weiter nach Tangalle. Das Tuk tuk war super gemütlich, anders als die Standard Tuk Tuks für kurze Wege. Ebenfalls war die Safari (3h) total interessant. Nicht nur Elefanten sondern auch viele andere Tiere wie Büffel, Adler, Eisvögel, Chamäleons etc...

100% рекомендуем. Пунктуальный, ненавязчивый гид (зовут Акила). Всегда на связи в ватсап. Отлично говорит по английски. Очень заботливый и внимательный человек. Адекватные цены (никогда не менялись). Очень чистый и просторный тук-тук. Очень аккуратный водитель - настоящий профессионал. Ездили на нем в Эллу - поездка была незабываемая. Перенесли абсолютно легко, хотя расстояние немаленькое. Стоимость почти в 2 раза ниже чему у туроператора, но вместо групповой поездки , вы получите индивидуальную. Также заказывали обзорную экскурсию по окрестностям Тангалле - полный восторг. Незабываемый шанс окунуться в местный колорит. Экскурсия завершилась ужином в доме Акилы, который приготовила его мама. Нам безумно понравилось. Плюс к нему можно обращаться по любым вопросам - организовать трансфер в аэропорт, покупка сим-карты, тук-тук на любой пляж (цены не завышены), обмен валюты, выезд в спа (все организовал сам) и тд. В итоге провели в поездках с ним примерно треть от нашего отпуска. Akila, thank you so much for our unforgettable vacations. Everything was great!

My girlfriend and I would like to drive from Ella to Tangalle on the 8th or 9th of February. Includes a safari tour in the Udawalawe National Park.
Pick up at the hotel at Ella and arrival at the hotel near Tangalle.

I am visiting Sri Lanka January 5th and wanting to go on the safari. I am visiting Negombo, Kandy and Ella before moving on to Tangella. I am a solo traveller firstly what would the cost of the safari be and secondly would you be able to do the journey from Tangella to Unawtuna approximately 2 days after being in Tangella.
