Если вам захочется тишины и умиротворения в таком большом мегаполисе как Дели, загляните в этот парк. Красивые тропинки, статуя Будды, большая "поляна" с розами. Вам понравится.

Buddha Jayanti park is very well maintained park by central public works deptt , there is a Buddha statue and Rose Garden which is outstanding , there is an cafeteria which served best quality of Breakfast .

Unlike more formal parks (even the not-too-far off Nehru Park among them), Buddha Jayanti Park is a cross between the wild and the tamed. It is located in part of what is known as the Central Ridge of the Delhi Ridge, and while the more intrepid of Delhi’s naturalists would do best to wander right off the roads and into the forested scrub, for those of us who are less adventurous but would like to experience at least some of the Ridge, this is a good place to start.
Buddha Jayanti Park, of course, draws its name from the Buddha, and so there is some presence of the Buddha and his teachings. Every now and then, there are stone slabs with excerpts from his teachings inscribed on them, and close to Gate No. 1, there is even a large gilded Buddha statue in a pavilion. Unfortunately, in an attempt to protect this, the authorities have surrounded it on all sides with clear plastic, which robs it of its beauty.
My husband, daughter and I visited on a monsoon afternoon. It was not raining, but it was quite humid, so perhaps that was why there were very few people around: we pretty much wandered where we liked after we’d parked in the (paid) parking lot inside Gate 1. Paths make their way all through the park, and there are lots of trees, both endemic as well as exotic: fried egg tree, plumeria, amaltas, sicklebush, gaub persimmon, dhak (palash or flame of the forest), gulmohar, peepal, agave, several species of cactus (in a separate cactus patch), several species of palm (in a palm grove) and so on. For a tree lover, this is a very rewarding place.
It’s also worth visiting if you love nature in general: there are plenty of birds around (in the brief while we spent here here, we saw lapwings, kingfishers, barbets, parakeets, and more), and the very fact that you can get right in amongst the trees makes it an adventure.
No entry fee is charged. There are benches and some scattered dustbins. Just inside Gate 1 is an ice cream cart (the vendor informed us that further on, near Gate 2, there’s also a restaurant, but we didn’t confirm this, since we didn’t go that far).

The garden, which is also known as the Buddha Jayanti Smarak Park is a park located in Dhaula Kuan, Delhi. The garden also has a Bodhi tree and Buddha Statue in the middle of the park. This park best place for couples, Family, friends, Walking and Jogging. You can visit this park without any fee in seven days.

Recently I visited this park again with one of friends for morning walk and enjoyed the ambience and cleanliness plus very disciplined crowd of morning walkers. Very good garden for morning walk for fresh air.

This less crowded Park is indeed serene and away from hustle and bustle of urban life. Stretched over a huge area in Central Ridge Reserve Forest of New Delhi. The park is perfect place for Yoga, running, jogging or you may simply sit on bench and do nothing. Nicely maintained lush green gardens which attracts a lot of local birds. A big statue of Buddha is situated right in the middle of park. Good place for couples, families and fitness freaks.
Important Infos:
1. There is no entry Fee.
2. It has a huge dedicated paid parking area.
3. There is no restaurant inside but you may find hawkers selling ice creams, chips and soft drinks.
4. Beware of stray dogs. Nothing to worry though.
5. The park opens at 6 am and closes at 6:30 pm. Its closed on Sundays.

We loved this place. You can see cute ducks inside the budha jyanti park. Area wise this is too much huge . A little pond inside the garden, this is the best location of budha garden, you can see a buddha statue in front of pond area. Overall we enjoyed a lot.

Last week my friend who is regular visitor to this garden forced me to come with him for morning walk and I must admit it was a very good experience and worth trying if one wants fresh air in the morning.

Budh Jayanti Park was conceived the head of by the directer of Horticulture for Delhi Sahdeo Singh who was previously the director of Taj Mahal Gardens in late fifties. After pleading for a long time with then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, he finally got approval to convert this arid patch with acacia trees into a multi use park. It is an informal garden but provides a place of enjoyment for both active and passive users. It is situated behind the presidential palace ( Rashtrapati Bhavan). I have very fond memories of having a picnic there with my sisters family. I do not have digital version to post.

the park is huge is size and surprisingly well mentioned, you will be surprised to see cute ducks inside the park. its a beautiful place.
