The king accompanied me and my girlfriend on our 2 day trip in Jaipur. During that time we've visited the city palace, Amber fort, the Jantar Mantar observatory and we played holi together at the holi festival. As i'm a very curious person i was very pleased with the fact that the guide was able to answer all my questions especially at the observatory. The holi festival is a big party al over the city where foreigners can get harassed by drunk and high locals. The guide took good care of us and kept us safe. Do not play holi unaccompanied by a guide! Overall we can recommend tata/the king as your guide for the trip.

We spent 1.5 days with Tarachand aka "King" in Jaipur and of the 4 guides over 10 days spent in India, he was our favorite! He was punctual, patient, informative, funny & made us feel very welcomed. An absolute bonus was that he is a great photographer and has a lot of patients to wait for the right moment, with lots of other tourists around, that is no easy task.
Places we toured with him: Galtaji Temple (Monkey Temple), Albert Hall & Birla Temple, Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, and Jantar Mantar & a palm reader at our request.
My only suggestion for Tarachand is: When going to Monkey Temple, PLEASE buy fruit & NOT candy for the monkeys! Haha!

Informative tour of Amber Fort with extras (ask him to take the attached photo). Upon returning to Jaipur, based on my request, we walked in the streets of Jaipur only and explored bazaars. Also climbed the Isarlat Swargasuli tower for a nice view. Recommended!

Hotel organized this tour for us and we were thankful for the wonderful experience. Guide was informative with history, connecting it to modern day and had decent command of English. Visited all places in the photo except Nahargarh fort. Good value for money.

Gave great history explanation of jana mantar, palace and amber fort. Would hire him again for tour guide.

Great day in Jaipur. Although very busy the guide has managed to avoid the worst of the crowds. Very good English. Has pointed out nooks and cranies we would have missed and recommend excellent food at lunchtime (light at our request). Has made what could have been a frustrating day most enjoyable
