Sundari and her husband Krishna were warm, welcoming and personable. They immediately felt like friends. Sundari’s cooking was amazing - definitely the best Indian meal I have ever had. Her cooking instructions were very clear and she made it all look easy and accessible. I look forward to reproducing her recipes once I get home.

Sundari and Krishna were wonderful hosts; charming, pleasant She took great care explaining each process Most of all, the end result was the BEST Indian food I have ever tasted (and I have travelled to over 60 countries and had Indian food many times).

The only challenge is writing the review is to determine which was better; the food or the hospitality. I suppose it was a draw because both far exceeded expectations. Sundari and her husband are wonderful hosts as you watch, under her careful narrative, your dinner being prepared. As you expectations build, the truth is in final test, tasting the dinner. It was the best Indian food I have ver eaten, by a large margin. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!!!

He and his wife participated. He was patient with our poor English. I was thrilled with the easy-to-understand and careful explanation and response. It was an easy procedure to remember and they made time to reflect on the course.
The chai, upma and pickle we received during the break were also great. The Chapati Garlic Rassam Vegetable Curry we learned was also delicious! Thank you for feeding me a full meal. I have prepared the cooking tools and ingredients at the restaurant recommended by Sundari-sensei, so I will try it after I return home! It was a very valuable experience! I hope to see you again when I visit Chennai ☺️

My husband and I absolutely loved cooking and learning with Sundari. We felt welcomed from the very beginning, and she taught us so many things not only about the ingredients but also about how they relate to local culture. You can see she cooks with her heart, and she passes it to her students! We would recommend Sundari classes to everyone visiting Chennai 🫶🏼

I was a bit nervous as it was my first time experiencing a cooking class, but teacher Sundari was very kind and taught me with great care.
She patiently waited for me several times as I wrote down the recipe in my notebook.
Not only did I learn the recipes, but I also gained knowledge about the cooking tools and spices used in Indian cuisine.
The dishes we made turned out to be absolutely delicious, and it was an amazing experience.
I would love to join again.

The food she made was amazing.
Every dish was refined, and I was able to eat truly pure food.
During the lesson, she taught me detailed techniques, things to pay attention to, regional differences in cuisine, how to use cooking utensils, and more, and I learned a lot.
She is definitely a best teacher who represents Chennai.
We talked about a lot of things after the lesson.
I will treasure the words she taught me and continue to cook South Indian food. Thank you for the wonderful time.

What a wonderful evening and experience with Sundari. The food preparation was so thoughtful and planned out prior to my arrival. Sundari chose recipes whereby I could find the ingredients when I returned home - and I was indeed able to easily find the ingredients, even the less common ones, at my local Indian grocery store in Bedford Nova Scotia. The process enhanced what I already though i knew about Indian cooking, enhanced my Indian cooking skills and with Sundari's depth of knowledge of Indian cooking, i was able to engage in in-depth discussion on Indian cooking. The experience was fun, relaxed and the meal at the end was one of the best Indian meals I'd even had. I can't wait to visit Sundari again on my next visit to Chennai.

I really recommend booking a class with sundari!! We felt very welcomed and learned a lot about indian cooking and indian life. You really can see that sundari loves cooking and loves teaching others about it and her culture! Loved it !

We can highly recommend this visit. Sundari is very warm and the food is super delicious. You immediately feel at home . She gives great tips and already has an eventful life that she likes to tell you about when you follow up. Cooking is her passion and you can feel it.

The cost quoted here is roughly correct at current exchange rate. In local currency -
3000Rs for 3 course experience
4500Rs for 5 course experience
